      In August of 2022 we had a major hail storm. ******************* and his wife drove around town and told us they were local and could help us with repairs. We also had a tree fall on our home and they said they could handle that we well. It is now January and they have no completed all the work they stopped called the insurance company and told them all work was completed and to issue them a check. I have a slope in my roof and leaks from where the tree fell. The Facias on my house were never fixed and I bought this up several times. The sky light was not replaced and it had a crack in it. They did not replace the insulation in my roof that had been soaked with rain water over and over. They stopped all communications with me and the other parties who did work on our home. I asked several times for a statement and invoice and they would not provide one and had an excuse every time. I have work that still needs to be done and they requested all the insurance money from my adjustor.

       I spoke with ***** on 8/9/2023. We spoke for about 20 minutes reviewing her complaint and making a game plan for me to drive up there and meet with her onsite 8/14/2023 @ 10:30 am. Her's is little bit trickier as there were multiple trades involved and multiple insurance claims. It seemed like she just needed a better explanation as to what was completed and why however we decided it best for me to drive up there and discuss all work that has been performed vs. what still needs to be completed. At this time ***** has agreed to this and is happy with the communication thus far. When J&S Renovations and ***** comes to an agreement she is happy with I will be sure to report that as well.

      J&S replaced my roof last August and the solar panels had to be removed and reinstalled as part of the job. After the roof was completed, the solar panels were reinstalled on 8/7/2020. The solar system functioned until 7/14/21 when it started producing less than half of what it was, which continued until 8/3/21. ***** came to my house on 8/3/21 and had to shut the system down completely so the house doesnt burn down. The connectors were melted and the wires were frayed making operation extremely dangerous to our home and our lives.This resulted in the requirement of a full system rebuild which they were not able to complete until 10/18/21. During this time I had to pay ***** despite not producing any power. My system was down for a total of 77 days.I first brought this issue to the attention of J&S on 8/11/21 at which time ******** requested documentation from Tesla and advised me to send in my bills for compensation. I followed this conversation up with an email as requested. On 12/31/21 I emailed my Tesla bills from 8/3/21 - 10/18/21 as well as screenshots of the loss of solar production in the Tesla app. I requested to be compensated in the amount of $283.69. This figure is based on solar bill of $110.53 per month ($3.68 per day) $3.68 *77 days.I received no response. On 1/11/22 I called J&S and spoke with ********. He claimed to not have received any of my emails. I confirmed the same email address I had sent previous correspondence and resent the email as requested. He advised he would get in contact with me, which he did not.During the week since we spoke on 1/11/22 I made multiple phone call attempts to no avail. I called and left a voicemail on 1/18/21 again requesting for this issue to be resolved and requested a call back by 1/19/21 close of business and if not would take further steps to get this resolved.

      I called ************** on 8/10/2023 (today) to offer an explanation and to inform him we have sent out a check to his address on file in the amount of $283.69 however he did not answer, and his voicemail was full so I could not leave a message. His check (#*****) was made and put in the mail on 8/9/2023.

      This company replaced my roof with no problems, roof does not leak. However, when I paid after the job was complete, I was told my receipt would be mailed to me along with the warranty for my roof. I have called several times and also contacted the employee who worked with my insurance company asking him to bring my receipt and warranty info to my house and all he says is he will notify the office to have it sent to me. They are very unprofessional and will not handle my situation to my satisfaction. For all I know they can come back at me stating I did not fully pay for the services I received. All I want is the receipt and warranty paperwork. I am being ignored and that is so frustrating. After the second time I contacted them, they should have brought it to my home. I called them and had to leave a message because nobody answered the phone and I sent an email with no response. I don't know what else I can do to get the paperwork sent to me. Please help me close this issue.
