This business is extremely unprofessional. I asked them to come look at The float level on my pool. They did not give me an estimate or quote me a price. When the worker showed up to my home he performed no service whatsoever.I got charged $75 by mail for their employee just knocking on my door. When I called to explain to them that no services were rendered They did not care They said they're still charging me for work that was not done.Still no estimate no work order or even a quote They just decided to charge me whatever they wanted to. $75.00 Just for showing up to my front door. Absolute price gouging at its best !

    The Pool Store Response

    09/16/2021

On 8/24/21 ***** called the office and stated the pool was over filling and needed a techs help. On 8/25/21 the tech arrived to the house and was greeted by a gentleman named *******. ******* took the tech out to the pool that was not ****** full (someone may have pumped the water down) but when he examined the auto fill float valve it was discovered that the valve was set incorrectly and would fill the pool higher than needed. The tech adjusted the valve to the proper level. When the tech arrived back to the office that day the service call was put in holding, pending any changes until 9/8/21 because the pool was not in the shape we were originally told it was the day before. ***** made it seem emergent and that is why he went out the following day instead of the 3 week waitlist we have currently. On 9/8/21 the service call was the only charge that ***** received and has admitted she called the office for help. With the water level already down and the valve set incorrectly, the adjustment was the first thing to do. That is why it was left open for 2 weeks and we never heard back from the customer stating the valve was over filling the pool. On 9/14/21 ***** contacted the office when she got the **** and stated that nobody ever went to her house and the issue was never fixed. The office manager called her back within the hour and left a message that she would speak to the tech and find out what is going on. Upon speaking to the tech and reviewing the notes on the work order from that day it was discovered that ******* is who the tech dealt with at her house. ******** name was added on to the notes by the tech and the service call only had ******* name on it. That is when the manager confirmed the tech was in fact on site that day. On 9/15/21 the manager left ***** a voicemail stating the tech was in fact on site and ******* from her household could confirm that. The manager explained what was found when the tech was there and the adjustment that was made therefore the service call charge was valid. The manager also stated if the pool actually "continued to fill" they should have called us back as the pool was not in the condition on the 25th that was described to us on the 24th. With the water already lowered and the valve wrong the correct steps were taken and that is why it was in holding for 2 weeks prior to the invoice being sent out incase anything changed. ***** called back roughly ***** mins later and left a voicemail stating we are thieves, that nobody was there, she was going to blast us on ********* to her Friends, the entire community and going to complain to the BBB. She went from nobody was there, to we only knocked and never went to the pool itself. She went online and called us liars and thieves even though ******* from her household is who the tech dealt with and we couldn't pull that out of nowhere as she never added that name to the original call. Again, ***** was only charged for the service call that she personally made to the office requesting a techs help.
