On April 13, 2021 we had water damage and on 18th we contacted Square One Builders (in summer of 2021 they changed their name to Kusto ** still at same address) they came in and did mitigation very efficiently. We had them give us a bid on the reconstruction of the work that needed to be done to get our home back to the way it was. We had to leave as the constant state of construction was just too much. We were told that they would keep us posted on weekly progress. Well that only happened the first month we were gone. Then after that I was calling the office to get someone out there. Our home was left unattended or accessed for weeks at a time. (I have the gate access report from the security office for verification of that.) it was left unsecured with my floor and back not closed in and windows left open. I was there in June for a week because I was told that the floors would be done and the shower people could come in and get exact measurements. well the floor was NOT done and what was done was not done correctly. (Also have video and pictures to show that.) There were holes in my walls, wires hanging from ceiling cupboards cut down to fit because of putting up framing that wasnt there before. An old bathroom door put in upside down in a door way that never had a door before with a hole chipped in for the door closure. I am giving you a bit of the background of this company. I have tried on numerous occasions to get the owner ***** to come out and look at the floor (this is my main complaint at this point) our kitchen floor has a sag in it and it is causing the *** to start separating. we have asked them to honor the 2 year warranty that they extend on the workmanship and they refuse to honor it. Stating that because we filed with *** and the *** stated that they are within state minium requirements no citation will be issued. I was not looking for an citiation I was looking for the job to be done as good as it was before they came in.

An *** walk was conducted as client was not content with the flooring in her kitchen.  the *** provided a report and dismissed the complaint.  Since this complaint on BBB and client sent in several emails to me direct, we sent out another inspector from our firm to look at the claim regarding flooring.  this was conducted today - findings and a solution is being discussed so we can determine how to proceed with this potential warranty issue.

still have not heard back from business. During inspection they discovered the floor is worse than before and it moves all the way back to bedroom and bathroom. Still waiting on their response.

****************,  respectfully, I've been in constant contact with you via email, cc'g your property manager about the status of your property.  Please be mindful that although your property was affected, the owner or *** and ******************* facility are the ones who filed a claim and are paying for this work to be completed.  Your property is 1 of three other units that were to be completed within this initial estimate.  The estimate was broken out per unit and then an overall main level that included all of the exterior items aka, roofing, framing and or soda blasting.  Your interior work was completed in full back in January of this year 2021.

There are 2 items I've brought up to you on several occasions.  1. the estimate does not include to paint the front faade of your building.  this is part of your complaint and Although it is definitely necessary and should be completed, your *** who is the actual insured and whose policy is covering this, has not approved it to be done.  2. because this is an *** there are several guidelines that come into play when it comes to painting the exterior of your physical property as the *** wants it to be uniformed.  My firm, painted your neighbors property in an effort to help beautify the property and the *** made us remove it as it was not uniform to the entire community.

Something you fail to mention in your complaint are the numerous things that were completed outside of the original estimate that i have not been able to get payment for and as a result I'm hesitant to continue to perform work that was not on original estimate and that perhaps will not be paid for.

The metal fleshing on roof  will get taken care of within the next 30 days as this is currently part of the estimate and will be completed as we are a reputable and licensed contractor.
