got estimate.sate 10/27/2022 paid in full $4000.00 with post dated check.1st day..showed up taped off a couple windows ..then left.came back following weekend.Agreement contract: see attached.1. prep work...nothing done 2. sealant.waterproof base...nothing done 3. paint...color is a LIME GREEN....does NOT match other buildings....See attached.4.clean up...paint on concrete, extra paint..can in back ******.PAINTED WRONG COLOR Very sloppy . This house is my house and my air bnb.I have had several last minute cancelations...because the house looks terrible! This paint job looks Very unprofessional. It really does. And as far as customer service I rate them an F They offerred to redo do it, For another $3 to $4 Thousand Dollars.Business response

Good afternoon it was a pleasure speaking with you today as well **************** stated on our phone call we had sent an initial rebuttal, but it seems to have been misplaced, but the contents of the rebuttal were as followed: I had spoken with ********************* after initial complaint was filed, and there had seem to be a very big misunderstanding, and she had informed us that somebody else had made the complaint, and it was not intentional after getting to the bottom of the complaint, it was easily resolved, and ********************* had informed us that she would have the complaint removed as soon as she was given the chance to do such, we thanked her for her understanding. Both parties left with mutual interests if there is any further information we can provide. Please inform us thank you very much!Initial Complaint

On 5-9-2022 I contacted ***************************** to request a quote to have a house painted & followed up with my initial request in an email dated 5-9-22. I was informed on 5-26-2022 that the painters were finished & **** wanted $4,200 in cash. I paid him cash. **** went to the house on 6-1-2022 to look at the paint job w/my son who lives there. Things that needed "touched-up" & corrected were pointed out. Example: Didn't caulk all the seams in doing prep work & some seams were only caulked half way. ****'s excuse was he didn't have a ladder tall enough (it's a one story house). Pointed out the underneath side on the ***** weren't prepped or painted. There was overspray on parts of the new roof installed a few months earlier. **** said my son could scrub it off with Simple Green. Doors painted differently. **** became irate & said it was the fault of the paint we picked & we needed to contact *******************************. **** selected the paint brand. We only selected the color. Since my ********** did not see eye-to-eye on things, we agreed that **** would ONLY deal with me since I had the contract with him. A Rep of ******************************* came out & said the paint was not defective. It was an application issue. On July 11, 2022, **** said he would contact me in September to schedule touching up the paint job since it was getting too hot to paint at this time. **** never called. In October, I tried to contact ****. Left him voice mails on 10-7-22 at 3:00 pm, 10-14-22 at 3:45 pm, 10-24-22 at 9:00 am, and 10-31-22 at 5:30 pm. At 6:30 pm on 10-31-22, **** contacted me. He said he no longer had any painters. However, I noticed reviews on BBB dated 9-4-22, 10-28-22, and 1-11-23 from customers he recently painted houses for. **** and I agreed that I would try to find a painter and get an estimate to complete the job. See estimate dated 2-15-2023. On 2-27-23 at 5:14 pm, I contacted **** regarding the estimate. He informed me he would do NOTHING for me.Business response

On the date on 05-0922 Mr.********** had contacted me via referrals of nearby neighbors and ask me to set up a meeting at his residence he had addressed to me that his son address was in about 5 miles away in which Mr.********** **** both properties we had agreed to a date/time to begin painting the exterior of the home Mr.********** had not been present at the at all only his son Mr. ************* after about roughly 30% into project his son states the he was very upset using foul and unnecessary verbal tones which at that point I had try to speak with his son in hopes to calm him down to no avail he continued to leave back and fourth from the property with an unsavory attitude which I intructed my crew to tone out his attitude and move forward with making a quality job several hours later and even into the following morning when we first arrived Mr.************* had taken a complete outburst of larger anger towards me and my crew so I had reached out to his father who I could not seem to be able to contact within a few hours we had reached the completion of the project following a phone call, I had set up a time and day to walk the property with ************************* we had completed the walk around with him, being extremely satisfied with the work had been done in which afterwords I received full payment and thanked me for the work A couple Days after that interaction I received several phone calls from his son once again, using inappropriate and foul language towards me he had informed me that there was a few methods in areas that he was not happy with so active responding directly with him. I let his father know. (Who was not currently in town) I will make arrangements to come and rectify any issues on the home as long as ********************** Senior is present and his son is not Just as an any other business, we do not accept any foul language or verbal abuse, and we refuse the right to service to anybody who acts in those regards ********************** Senior and I had spoken about making an arrangement to take care of any areas on the house for that upcoming October of 2022 he had also agreed to meeting me individually at the property, and not with his son present when the date agreed-upon in October had arrived, ********************** Senior had called me the morning of our appointment to inform me that he would not be able to make it due to personal reasons which we spoke about he would contact me at a later point to reschedule which I informed him my schedule is always shifting, and I cannot guarantee any dates he agreed and said he would call me within a couple weeks following that as of 03-06-23 I had not heard back from Mr. *********** up until about a week ago (end of February) Quite a time difference, I was expecting to hear from him within the following weeks as he mentioned he mentioned so I was given the intention that he had must of taken care of their touch up areas it had been so long since Ive heard from Mr. ********** at that point Moving forward Sir ********************** contracting looks forward to working with the BBB in hopes to resolve any issues.
