Purchased a double wide new trailer to be constructed in ***** and delivered in three weeks to my lot per ******, she had originally stated 4 weeks until she said if I paid in full, I could be in the trailer in 3 weeks. Well, when I met with ***** her installer, he stated permits need to be pulled for delivery and set-up for the Sunwest 55+ Resort in Casa Grande, Permits take normally 3 to 4 weeks, never even discussed with ****** or brought up. Also discussed whether I could be all in for $130,000 complete, and ******* said probably less. That was my budget. ***** told me about the permits on Friday, March 17, 2021. I was supposed to get the quote on Friday night but that did not happen, so I contacted ******* on Monday to ask about the quote and question the permits. She did not have much to say about this, ****** then brought up that it could even take longer if I went with *******. Will I did receive *****'s quote that night for over $52,000.00. Well over my original budget of $130,000.00 we had discussed with ****** about before I submitted the full payment. Well at this time, there was no set date, the trailer was not in construction per ****** and **** since I was not ready and no construction had been done, I submitted the cancellation that same day, March 21. 2023 and mailed a certified letter to the office and the escrow account holder as well that same day cancelling. **** the ** of The Outlet stated that it was going to cost me over $30,000.00 since he has created a P.O., no construction was ever completed! I did meet with ***** at ******* and found out he would not even be able to set the trailer due to the construction from *****. *** from the park agreed and said they could not have that trailer in their park either.Business response

Per Ms. **** executed purchase agreement, her home had a completion month of April 2023. ********** was provided a list of setup contractors that are approved with the **************** for her to contact and so she could discuss her site and setup of home. Contractors work directly with the homeowner to provide them bids based on their needs and wats for their home. We have no knowledge of their communication. All contractors are a separate entity and have no affiliation with Home Outlet.
********** requested to cancel on March 21st and on March 23rd, ********** sent her housing consultant a message that she was meeting with another contractor. The General Manager for Home Outlet reached out to ********** asking for clarification if she wanted to cancel or move forward with another contractor, noting that her request to cancel has placed her in default of the purchase agreement. On April 7, ********** stated that she would like to cancel.
We are currently working with Ms. **** attorney on a resolution.
If you would have any further questions please feel free to email me.
Sincerely,
*******************
