      In June of 2022, I was approached by ecoshield pest control and contracted them to be our pest control services for 2 years. In January of 2024 I reached out to them about canceling my service because we were trying to cut costs. They said I could not cancel until after 2 years but that they would discount my service. I specifically asked them that my service would be cancelled after 2 years and they said yes and I specifically asked if I had to reach back out to them or if they would cancel it with my verbal confirmation and they said yes. Fast forward to June of 2024 where I have had hundreds of emails, texts and phone calls and they will not cancel my service. Every other month they reach out with a reminder for the bi-monthly service reminder and I remind them YET AGAIN that I have cancelled. They begin to email, call, text and say they can't cancel until they have spoken to me even though they have spoken to me countless times. I want my account cancelled and my phone number and email address to be removed from their system and I want to never hear from them again.

      On 5/29/24 a young man showed up on my property and took a seat on my lawn furniture without invitation. He gave his spiel about how Ecoshield was great and all of our neighbors were using them for their pest control. He was very pushy, persistent and claimed to be the owner. He then invited himself into my backyard, without permission, to surveillance my house. After that, he invited himself in for water, which I allowed due to his deceitfulness in claiming he knew my neighbor. After I finally got him to leave, he returned to my house a couple hours later to ask to use the bathroom where he again lingered until I told him I was busy with work. During that time, he was inquiring about Wi-Fi to get his phone to work. He did not wear a badge and when I asked his name, he said his name is ****. At 6:02 pm he returned to my house for a final time and my husband, kindly refused several times, leading him to shut the door on ****. **** was rude during this interaction and continue to tell neighbors that we had signed up with him. I have never been treated with So much disrespect, dishonesty, and felt completely violated in my own home. The following day he continued to repeat his fraudulent Activity with my fellow neighbors, who then started communicating with each other other. One Neighbor threatened to call the cops on him. But that didnt stop him, he continued to throw my name out and show neighbors of fraudulent contract that I signed with him. I would like to see a resolution with this or I will Continue to file complaints. I know many of my neighbors are doing the same.

      On April 10th 2024 Ecoshield pest solutions out of Phoenix Az came out to spray for bugs and within 2 hours of their visit my 5yr old healthy pig was dead POISONED. I contacted the office and all I got was sorry. They refused to pay for the cremation and the vet bills. This company is horrible they knew I had animals on the property and totally disregarded the safety of my pets.

      A salesperson came to my house about pest services on 05/06/2024. I entered into a contract to receive pest services. Within the contract I had 3 days to get out of this contract, by 05/09/2024 if I wanted to. I mailed the form which was provided to me within the time frame. It was received by Ecoshield on 05/08/2024 & was received by **** at the front desk. Which I provided proof. Since then I have been called by this company, emailed & received text messages which I provided copies as well. ******* text messages me wanting to know more about why I cancelled. Then the messages started getting worse. Then ******** sent me a text message saying they received my request, but they have to speak with me over the phone to resolve my request in full. No where on my contract did it say I needed to not only provide them with the 3 day written notice, but also speak to them to cancel. Then I get an email from their customer service saying they received my email to cancel service. I never sent them an email, I did as the contract said and mailed them a copy of the cancellation letter to the address provided within the 3 days I was provided. Then the email said to expect a call. Yeah okay, now I'm getting angry. Then I get another email from *****, stating as a reminder there is a charge of cancelling within the service agreement. What charge? According to the terms I had 3 days to cancel in the matter they stated with no obligation, or fees. I even saw in one of these complaints where they educated someone on the terms of their 3 day cancellation. Which I did. This company lies. They have tried different tactics to try and get me on the phone so they can high pressure sales me. If they want to play this game with me I will be more than happy to go to court with them. They better not charge anything further on my card, call me, text message me, email me or come onto my property again. I've had it with this company!

      This is in addition to a complaint I had filed a few days ago. I got this from Ecoshield today threatening to charge my card. They gave me the option to get a hold of them today or they will charge my card if I do not hear from them. I tried calling the number provided to me from ******** in the email to prevent this. I get a recording they are closed today and to call during their business hours. They have made it impossible for me to stop this charge on my card. I have already mailed them the 3 day written notice within the time frame to cancel any further services to them within the 3 days provided which I did. Since I have no other options I called my bank to make sure they would not allow any charges from them or any other name that they provide to charge my card. I also wrote them back letting them know per my banks instructions. This is just plain harassment and I'm sick of it. I do not want their services and they are making it impossible for me to cancel with all of their tricks they come up with. This needs to stop.

      Was with EcoShield for 2 years (per the contract I signed). I had emailed them asking if I had met the requirements of our contract and their representative said yes, I had fulfilled the time that we agreed to. I went to go cancel service with them and everything seemed ok. Then they send me a bill for $150 for a cancellation fee. If I broke the contract I signed I would expect a fee, what honest company charges a cancellation fee when you fulfil your contract?My advice to anyone reading this, do not hire this company. They sent this fee to collection and I'm about to file a dispute. Stay away.

      I started receiving calls from a debt collector asking for my daughter who is a minor. They insist my daughter owes EcoShield Pest Control $650 dollars, I told them shes a minor. Then they insist that an adult in my home used her name to sign up for pest control, and she still owes the money which is untrue. I have never received pest control services for my home.

      I was Solicited by an Eco Shield Employee over a year ago for monthly service to be paid quarterly. They will not let me cancel my service or give me a copy of the "Contract that I Signed". When requesting to end service I was told that I can not cancel there service. They have also forged my initials on the second page of a contract that I never saw. They have copied a signature and used it on more than one place in the document.

      In June 2023, I signed up for a one year contract with Ecoshield Pest Solutions from a door salesman. He promised my home would be serviced every other month inside and out and that if I had any issues in-between with bugs appearing, they would immediately send someone out. The salesman purposely didnt explain that the appts would be at the companies convenience, and not at the customers. As a result of them scheduling the appointments whenever they feel like it, even if the homeowner is not available, only the exterior front yard of the home can be sprayed, and not the interior or backyard. The customer is then forced to wait two months for the next appointment to try to get the interior and rear yard sprayed.Also, if you call about any bug infestation in between scheduled appointments you are told to wait till the next scheduled appointment. On APRIL 6, I received a text message from Ecoshield saying my appt would be on April 11 between 9-11am. I rearranged my work schedule to be present for the appt because we had started seeing spiders in the house and I wanted the interior sprayed. On the morning of the 11th at 8am, I received a message from **** at Ecoshield that the technician had called out and they would have to reschedule me to 4/13. When I told her I wasnt available, she said that was fine because they could still treat the exterior of the home and come back for the interior. I told her I wanted the appt rescheduled so the interior could be done because of a large spider in the home just a few days ago. She grudgingly reschedule to a date I was available, April 15 8-10 am. (At this time, I also asked her about canceling my contract. She advised I would be charged $200 if I didnt complete the contract and I still had two more appt before I would be done.)On Monday April 15,2024 at 9:29am, at nearly the end of my service window, I received a text from DJ saying they would have to reschedule again with no input from me on my availability.

      Contacted business in February 2024 to discontinue service. The service provider is supposed to spray interior and exterior and show up without appointments which makes it impossible for an interior as this is a private residence. **************** said I would receive an $80 credit on my invoice since exterior only was sprayed. They said I would need to have to continue service for one more treatment only in April 2024 to avoid a cancellation fee. I agreed to continue only for April 2024 and they were to cancel. I also requested a final invoice in writing which I never received to reflect this agreement in writing Service provider showed up in April without an appointment again and sprayed exterior only. I called customer service again to cancel. They sent me a $300 cancellation fee.This company tries to keep you perpetually locked in with threats of $300 cancellation fees so you can't cancel their service.

      I am writing to file a formal complaint against two door-to-door salesmen from EcoShield who visited my residence on April 5th, approximately at 5:00 PM. Despite the prominent display of a "No Soliciting" sign on my property, these representatives disregarded it and proceeded to knock on my door. When questioned about their disregard for the sign, they claimed to possess a soliciting permit but failed to provide any evidence upon request.Furthermore, when I inquired about the type of sign required to deter them from knocking on my door in the future, they stated that no sign would prevent their solicitation efforts. Additionally, despite expressing concerns raised by neighbors on our community ******** page regarding disturbances caused by this company specifically, the representatives displayed a blatant disregard for such concerns.Moreover, when I requested any form of identification or contact information for their employer, they refused to comply. They declined to provide their names, business contact details, or even a phone number to reach their supervisor, directing me instead to their website.As a concerned resident, I am seeking resolution to this matter and request a copy of the purported soliciting license they claimed to possess, which they used to circumvent our clearly stated preference against solicitation. This behavior is not only disrespectful to homeowners but also raises questions about the legitimacy of their sales tactics and the credibility of EcoShield as a company.I trust that the Better Business Bureau will investigate this complaint thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that EcoShield and its representatives adhere to ethical and lawful business practices.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,***********************************

      Although I appreciate the response, this has not yet been resolved. I am still awaiting permit information the sales reps stated they had. If this information is not provided or simply not available, I would appreciate a response from the sales rep or their manager with an apology for misleading the homeowner With a statement. I would also like to know the policy for providing identification to a homeowner when asked. I believe failure to do so in this line of work poses a safety issue to the homeowner And creates a larger issue when trying to provide a company feedback, positive or Negative.
