On 2-16-22 I contracted with *********************** for $6200,00 to fix 2 roof water leaks on my front patio. He said the underlayment was old and need to be replaced. I agreed. The job was completed a few weeks later, On 1-17-23 I sent ***** a *** photo of the larger leak not fixed. The smaller one over a window was also not fixed. A crew was sent out and found a 6 inch nail used on the original job which was causing the smaller leak. Nail removed, sealed and fixed. The larger leak the crew put some additional underlayment in an area they thought the leak was. On Feb 23, 2023 I again sent ***** a *** photo of the same leak location not fixed. Still leaking into an inner wall and out onto the patio. He sent the same crew out as before. They put some caulk around some flashing and shrugged their shoulders. An early March 2023 rain storm came thru. During the rain I took a video of the same leak. It was now dripping from the inner wall onto the patio. On March 7-2023 I sent ***** a the *** video. No response. On March 8 2023 I called ***** 5 times and found out he had blocked my phone number. I used *67 and got his voicemail. I left a message and got no response. It has been several hours now and no response. *****'s roofing company has failed in meeting their contractual agreement and are currently not abiding by his 10 yr. workmanship/ material warranty. The large leak has gotten worse since the original job.

We replaced the underlayment with double layer and have been to the property twice to investigate the reported issued. We met with the Register of Contractor and you and did a 45 minute water test on the roof that my company did and not a drop of water.  They have dismissed the complaint because they found nothing wrong. I have a copy of the Letter from the *** for any future client to review.  The leak to be from Stucco Parapet Wall or flat roofs(that is on the back side of this area BOTH  were not part of our project. I will keep a copy of the letter for anyone who wants to review it and the lack of finding any issue with our work.

The area you have leaking is behind the STUCCO not the roof.  You have lots of cracks in the stucco and as a courtesy we repaired them for free when we were out there the last time.  This was completed after our water test with the *** that showed no leaks or issue with our work. You filed this complaint with the BBB and *** in 24 hours.

Further, your number was never blocked and you never contacted us via email or the website and you also have me home address.   I was out of the country when you contacted me on March 8th, not blocked but out of the country recovering from surgery which I explained after I returned.I am the only company this size that tells you where they live.  You say things about the 5/6 inch nails that were used, they are Required to hold down flashing that is on-top of the tile. (they are the right size)The leak you have is in the parapet wall or flat roof both outside of the areas we worked.although we probably fixed it for free when we repaired the stucco cracks that arent part of our contract.  All the best and if the **** that we worked on ever leaks, I will continue to stand behind it.

I stand behind my work and the 200 plus roofs I do a year.  NEVER a single complaint on file in over 20 years in business, not many companies can say that.
