This complaint is about the dealership We Are Airstream ********, they didn't honor a contract I signed with them when purchasing a Basecampt 20x 2025 that gave me first right on a the model I had already put 35k down on. I put 5k deposit down in late July. I waited 3 weeks for the unit to arrive and then drove to the dealership in ******** and gave them a cashiers check for another 30k down. I wanted to finance the rest, as I held my ground, I watched their attitude towards me change. It was clear and they said so repeatedly that they wanted me to pay the balance in cash. I waited 3 weeks to see if they would approve the financing with me. During that time I felt like they were delaying intentionally to bully me into paying the balance with cash. They kept telling me they were working on getting it approved unless I wanted to pay cash. On Wednesday September 4th 2024 I had spoken to their finance guy earlier in the day who told me he would try and give me an answer that day. After hours, I got a text saying they couldn't finance me and to give them a call. Over the next three days I called the dealership about thirty times leaving messages, never getting anyone on the phone. The front desk would send me directly to voicemail and I never got a return call. Finally Saturday I demanded to speak with the head of sales ***** ******* and he was so rude and condescending, abruptly telling me they sold my unit on Thursday, the morning after the text. He even mocked my credit score and my residential status over the last two years. I was planning on wiring the balance now that I knew they couldn't finance me but they showed complete lack of professionalism and zero respect. They are so sleezy and didn't honor the contract. Now it is 12 days after they sold my unit and they still haven't issued a full refund. The manner in which they treated me is disgusting and dishonorable not to mention a breach of the paperwork I signed.Initial Complaint

I purchased a $50.00 pillow for my camper online. I didn't like it. For the last several weeks I have been trying to just get a return label so I can return it. This company makes it impossible to return things. I have emailed them three separate times and today I contacted their store. Waited on hold for over 10 minutes, no one answered. I called back and the person who answered said to leave a message and they would eventually call me back. This is unacceptable. I want my money back .Initial Complaint

I had my airstream serviced under an insurance claim back in 2021 and two years later the work has yet to be completed even though the insurance company paid the claim to the dealership. At this point, it is essentially insurance fraud on the dealerships part. Additionally, several work items were incomplete or done incorrectly and there are items on order that they refuse to respond with a status.I have attempted to reach service representatices over 10 times to get a status on the outstanding items and the dealership fails to return my calls. I unfortunately do not live local to the dealership, so it is not possible for me to just stop in.Initial Complaint

We purchased an Airstream RV because their website states "A ************ on Quality Why Airstream? Craftsmanship Matters" which is false. Within the first use of the *** on our way to ***********************, ****** ***** from **********, the lid cover provided in the purchase flew up twice and hit the counter twice. The durability of the counter is non-existing. Airstream refuses to warranty this item as requested. The Airtstream manual does not state to put their "sink lid" away while in tow.Initial Complaint

Airstream of ********** (who changed business name to We Are Airstream on 09/01/2021) was paid almost $19k by SafeCo to repair damage from a not at fault accident on June 23rd 2021. Second quote for $2100 was paid for electrical work. Both jobs have major errors; Safeco is pursuing them for possible insurance fraud. The 'electrical' damage will cost me personally another $1200 to repair. They removed the wiring to my entire solar system, which was installed by Airstream 3 years ago without my permission. When I inspected and found/advised the problems on August 28th, they requested that I move the trailer off their yard as they were moving premises to ******** - DBA We Are Airstream. They asked me to ***************** to We Are Airstream on 09/07/21. Since then they have completely stonewalled me. No reply to calls, emails or texts since I left their dealership on August 28th. I suspect they hope I will just go away Do not do business with this company if you want to sleep at night!
