BBB review on Sun Solar I do not recommend this company or any other company who says they will send you their proposal and puts the CONTRACT in the proposal document. I was told by the sales person that he would send me the proposal and to sign the document so they could have a site survey done. He did not tell me the CONTRACT was in the same document. I didn't give it much more thought and called some other companies for quotes and since in my mind I hadnt signed a contract and had specifically told the sales person my spouse needed to agree & we hadnt signed any paperwork. When we did decided we would not be going w/them out of courtesy I let them know. The sales man was very irate w/ me telling me I had signed a ************* was passed the 3 day cancel time and I couldnt get out of it. I would think after signing a contract the sales person would touch bases back w/person but he did not. I felt deceived by him and when I realized my mistake it was to late. The company would not let me out of the contract, even though the contract states they can cancel at their discretion. I was willing to pay for the work they had already done, but they wanted to charge me 10% of the loan cost, this is outrageous over $4k for work they did not even start, a site surveyor came out & assessed that the house is able to handle the equipment. That was it.By going with them I would have been forced into purchasing from someone I didnt feel had the best product. I knew I would only regret that decision. I found a much better company and even though I ended up paying over 2k to them I saved much more by going with a much better company with a better product and moral character.It seems sending a proposal w/contract through docusign is a practice of several other companies as well, so be wary no matter who you deal with.
