I have a ***************************************************** 73. Second owner, now of 49 years. I had her towed on Thursday, Feb 3rd for what I thought was an exhaust leak.I did not hear from them, although I called twice.**** called Friday at 10:55 saying it a fuel pump and did I want to have a tow truck pick her up or leave over weekend as they close at noon on Friday. My neighbor, ***** stated shed be safe over the weekend. I felt that uneasy feeling, but said no tow truck, that Id pick her up once repaired. I called on Monday at 9:25 to which **** said they still needed part, He called at 4:55, just 5 minutes before closing and said would be ready for pickup anytime Tues.,Feb 8th. Neighbors gave me a ride into town to pick up at 2 pm. ************ showed me under the hood where they replaced the fuel pump. I pulled her out of driveway, careful to watch busy traffic and headed to my appointment about 1.5 miles away.Ran into my appointment and when I returned to car I noticed the steering wheel different in dull, oxidized color without my red, white, blue with horse emblem. It had cracks and ******* where my Original steering wheel had one thin crack at 10:00 and was a black wheel matching my dash. I looked in backseat and seen seatbelts faded, rolled up where mine laid flat across the backseat. I immediately returned to confront where my original parts were.Owner was hostile, stand 10 away and said were a reputable place, why would we do that, to leave and never come back. Just dismissed me without even looking at the vehicle in surprise or curiosity.They may be reputable with todays cars, but a classic, antique Mustang, being Mustang enthusiasts was too tempting. I honestly believe they all know what occurred over the weekend and are saying nothing for someones benefit and huge monetary gain! All should be investigated! Youll find my original parts on their Mustangs or were paid good money for another. Exchanged dashboard, backseat and steering wheel.
