On 12-23-23 I noticed my dog was walking with a limp. On 12-26-23 I got him in under urgent care at canyon pet. They brought me in a quote the low end was almost **** the high was almost ****. I asked the tech what wasn't needed on it so I couldn't keep the cost down. She said everything was needs to save my dogs leg. She showed me two different credits I could apply for and left he room. She came back and I said we need to do this right away to save your dogs leg she said apply for more than the quote just in case. I ended up applying for scratch pay for **** and was approved. They came back in and said my dog had a fever so it was critical for him to stay the night. 12-27-23 they informed me that they got a lot of the swelling down but the fever was still high so he should stay another day. I asked the cost she said $105 and then corrected herself with $140. I thought about it and agreed. I told her this was the last night he could stay because I couldn't afford it. 12-28-23. I pick my dog up. I asked if I could have the vet in ******* change his bandage. The tech said you should continue to bring him here since we started his care and that vets all charge about the same price. He needed daily bandage changes. Ont his day the tech asked me if they told me how they drained his leg. I said no. She continued to tell me that while shaving him, the razor got caught on a scab a ripped his leg wide open. She said all the fluids just came gushing out. 12-29,30,31 and 1-1-23 took him in for daily bandage changes. I had informed them that I was switching to his vet after the holiday. 12-31-23. I was told they've never seen a wound heal as great and fast over night as his did. 1-1-23 they said the same thing. I asked several times how this happened they said friendly playing with his brother. I was shocked to see that my charges were almost ****!! I was quoted high $****. Then they added the $140. I never was told any other quotes or given any other bills or amounts. I was never told an amount. I was sent an email from scratch pay for $3485! I sent an email inquiring about the amount. I haven't heard anything. I have a payment coming up with scratch pay so I thought I better take action. I never agreed to charges of $3485Initial Complaint

Worst experience Ive had at any vet ever. Their main focus here is money. Regardless of how serious of a situation or whats going on there only concern is getting paid. I met a couple of the best sales people of my life here. Had excellent sales pitches. Ill conitnue to make every effort possible to expose this dump and let ********* see them for what it is. A cash cow.
