      The purchase happened on Thursday, August 3. I paid the business $4,947.58 to fix my transmission on my 2014 **** Fusion hybrid.They told me they were going to fix my car's transmission. The nature of the dispute is that they charged me all this money, yet the transmission wasn't fixed. I took it to the dealer, and they said they put in the wrong parts in the car and they would not work on it since they were the wrong parts installed, but yet the repair shop said they had the right parts in.I tried to resolve it with them, but they denied that the parts were wrong and wanted me to pay more for them to fix it. I do have a transaction number from my credit card: **********************.

      December of 2021, I brought my car 1970 Oldsmobile to Choice Transmission (“CT”) for an engine replacement. I was to pay $1,200.00 to CT for labor, and the engine rebuilt was to be supplied by Five Star Engine (“FSE”). I placed a $1,000.00 deposit with CT. FSE gave CT specific instructions on how to properly install the engine. On April 14, 2022, CT sent me a text message stating that the engine had been installed and overheated. CT claimed that the engine was “no good” and placed blame entirely on FSE. I suggested that CT send the engine back to FSE for diagnosis—FSE agreed and arranged to pick up the engine. FSE assured me that the engine had passed all of its diagnostic tests, and the “only thing” that could have caused the overheating was improper installation or improper gaskets. CT insisted that it had made no errors in the installation. On September 16, 2022, FSE finished reinstallation of the engine and demanded an additional $3,200.25 from me in which $700 was labeled MISC. When I asked what that for they removed it. So I paid CT $2,400.00, not realizing at the time that CT had already charged my credit card $1,500.00. I took possession of the Vehicle, and less than three hours later, the engine stalled within ten miles from CT. Since then I brought car back 3 times after each time the car stalled within hours. At the 3rd time ***** ****** the owner told me to take it somewhere else as they can no longer help me. Frustrated I took it to a TWO reputable shops and both confirmed the poor craftmanship of CT and spent $2350 to fix their poor craftmanship. 1- They installed the wrong gaskets and left SILICONE traces for cover up. 2- They a motor mount uninstalled which was dangerous and caused the engine to lift and the fan hitting the hood. 3- The car was shifting rough because they didnt install a vacum hose for the tran** 4- They charged me rebuilding a carb but they didnt so i had to replace it new. Incompetant I can understand but shady I will not accept.

      Attached is the invoice signed by Mr. ***** 
      The vehicle in question came in, not running with a bad motor. We indeed installed a customer supplied motor that had some problems. Initially we have cooperating emails back-and-forth with the engine builder that proved that it has some issues. For example it overheated within five minutes of running it and we found water in the cylinder that prove that there was a flaw in the head gasket or some sort of leak in the head gasket that was done by the builder 
      So we did need to pull the engine back out and send it to the builder the second time we installed the engine it was not overheating, but did need some additional parts that are all included in the invoice. I did get authorization from Mr.***** to install these additional parts. Attached is the invoice with the breakdown of all parts, the breakdown of the down payment he gave me with a balance left of 2485.00 that was never paid by ********* Not sure what he’s trying to pull but as of now he still owes me 2485.00
      Mr.***** was not happy with the way the engine was running. It did need more work, but refused to accept any additional labor charges so he drove the vehicle out and presented me with an invoice from another auto repair shop.  It did need more work, but refused to take on any additional labor charges so he drove the vehicle out and presented me with an invoice from another auto repair shop. Remember, the vehicle came in on a tow truck never ran to begin with. We did not know what additional parts it needed to get it running. 
      Furthermore, Mr. *****  started threatening my employees and intimidating them, and demanded his vehicle be finished on a certain deadline or else, not sure what that meant.
      As of now, Mr. ***** owes me $2485 and the only thing that is under warranty are the parts we supplied.

      The image of the text attached proves that Mr. ***** is lying about the $1200 labor charge he claims we agreed-upon we actually agreed on $2000 and the text above shows $1000 down with the remainder of $1000 for the initial labor, that did not include the labor to pull the bad engine out for the second time and reinstall it also did not include any labor to repair any existing issues that were unknown to us at the time, furthermore, he claims of sold the vehicle while still owing me $2400 not sure what kind of scam he’s trying to pull but as of now I have severed all contact with Mr. *****

      ***** ****** has a history of lying and deflecting to create confusion. Apparently, there are 19 other victims who he has scammed. They shared their reviews publicly on google and I attached a pdf with their reviews.
      The main topics are:
      1- Choice Transmission is responsible for overheating the engine when they did not use the proper gaskets provided by the engine builder (FIVE STAR ENGINES). The invoice shows they charged me $250 for gaskets. Also, the initial agreement was $1200 for labor, however, they charged me $1800.
      2- ***** ****** LIED by stating that I took the car somewhere else before giving them the chance to fix it properly. After three failed attempts in fixing the car, ***** told me to take the car somewhere else. I submitted a screen shot of his text message.  
      3- ***** ****** LIED saying I drove my car out of his shop without paying and that I owe him $2485. I challenged him publicly in this thread to present the video footage from his office camera in Gilbert on Sep 23rd between 1pm and 3pm where it shows I paid him in front of his office manager in cash. Which brings two questions:
                  A- Why would he let me take the car without paying?
                  B- IF I OWE HIM MONEY HOW COME HE WANTS TO STOP COMMUNICATING WITH ME INSTEAD OF SUING ME??  
      MAKES NO SENSE!
      After going through the victims’ reviews on google, I noticed a pattern that ***** stops communicating after he is threatened by the truth. Therefore, after refusing to refund me what I am owed ($3995.92), I will be reaching out to the 19 victims that ***** ****** scammed and start preparing a collective lawsuit against Choice Transmission.
      ***** ****** (******* ******) AND HIS PARTNER **** *** ***I AT CHOICE TRANSMISSION MUST BE STOPPED FROM SCAMMING ANYMORE VICTIMS AND BROUGHT TO JUSTICE.

      We dropped our truck off July 14 to find the problem with the ****** being stuck in limp mode. They said it needs rebuilt. They finished it and **** honored the price he gave me. We picked it up today, August 19, and found that the passenger rear window regulator was broken and the window dropped in the door and wouldn't roll up. The next thing was a big ***** crease in the passenger door. Talked to who I believe is the owner, and he said the crease couldn't be there because they have bumpers on the lifts. The best he would do is fix the broken window regulator if I purchase the part. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place for service. With the exception of **** honoring the price he gave me, beyond disgusted with their service.

      We did work on a dodge for Mr. ******* we did the transmission never touch the windows passenger side rear window had fallen after he picked it up he came back 1 hour later to tell us that the rear window had fallen and that it was our fault not sure what transpired but window regulators always break and I did offer to do the repair (labor free) if he purchased the parts I believe that was more than fair to offer.

      In regards to the ***** crease he speaking of,he did mention it was ***** which tells me its been there a while.

      we do have rubber bumpers on our hydraulic lifts to prevent doors from denting, also it was the passenger side door which we never touched 

      Furthermore Mr. ******* did not mention that this truck had many dents and Dings all over as well as rest all over.

      So I am sorry for how hes feeling. I still stand behind my offer to repair his window with no charge on labor but he will be expected to pay for the part that is a courtesy I am offering m,not an admission of any wrongdoing.

      When we picked up the truck, I didn't notice the passenger rear window was down until I got home. When I walked around the truck to see what was going on with the rear window, I noticed the crease in the door. The window being stuck down in the door and the crease on the passenger door were not there when I dropped the truck off. There is rust on the crease beacuse whatever they hit it with is rusted. All of the equipment at this shop, including the lifts they use for vehicles, is outside and not covered from the weather.

      Not sure how you dont notice a window being rolled down when number one it is 110 outside secondly the wind noise shouldve told you the windows down, regardless the regulator in the door broke that is something that just happenes Whether it happened at the shop or while he was driving that does not mean that we are responsible for the window regulator breaking, window regulators just break all the time and again I offered him free labor to do it as a courtesy he refused,in regards to the ***** crease our hydraulic lifts are only three years old theres no rust on them the rubber pad that prevents doors from hitting metal has no rust on it. I believe that is something that has been there from something else or elsewhere and he just happened to notice it after he picked up his vehicle

      The window wasn't down when I brought the truck to their shop for repair. It was working and rolled up. As for the crease. The mechanic that has worked on that truck for the past 16 years noticed the crease right away. He said, "Where did that come from?"

      Needles to say, I will not ever be retiurning to their business nor send any business their way. ************ will no longer be sending them any business as well.

      HI MY NAME IS ******************************* I HAVE HAD MY 2012 TRAVERSE LS CHEVEY FOR ABOUT FOUR YEARS I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH MY CAR OTHER THEN TO GET ROUTINE OIL CHANGE AND REGULAR TLC FOR IT NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH IT IN TWO YEARS. BUT ONE DAY IN 2021 A/C WENT OUT AND I TOOK IT IN TO CHOICE TRANSMISSION (****) FIVE TIMES ONLY TO BE CHARGED FOR IT AND STILL TO THIS DAY HE HAS NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIX IT NO COLD AIR NOTHING. THIS LAST TIME ON MAY 15 WHILE IN WAS IN THE HOSPITAL I HAD MY SON GABRILE TAKE IT IN SO I COULD HAVE IT READY FOR WHEN I GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL TO GO BACK AND FORTH TO DR ***** WITH A/C I COULD NOT BE IN THE HEAT DUE TO MEDS I WAS ON. AS OF TODAY 7/19/2022 I WENT TO PICK IT UP CAUSE IT WAS STILL NOT FIXED HE HAD IT FOR LIKE 13 WEEKS AND KEPT TELLING ME ALMOST DONE WAITING AND A PART AND OTHER STUFF.       Dear BBB and *******, we first worked on your car 4-19-2021 we replaced a a/c hose assembly and recharged your a/c, we charged you 477.06

      the second time was 7-14-2021 a/c blowing warm we resealed the suction hose assm at NO CHARGE, apparently that didn't work because you came back 7-28-2021 and we replaced the suction hose at NO CHARGE.

      then Fast forward to 6-28-2022 at this point repairs done were out of warranty but we went ahead and try to help and repaired the a/c  leak at NO CHARGE although her a/c fan assem was not working as well as her starter failed  we charged her

      851.52 for a/c fan and starter.

      finally the last time she came back 7-19-22 her car was low on refrigerant again we told het the refrigerant was leaking at the evap core that is located under the dash she told us she refuses to pay for anything and at that point we asked her to pick up the car.

      I am sorry for your frustration but we did NOT charge you anything on your a/c system since 4-19-21 other that the fan assembly that you needed.

      I feel like we have bent over backward for you and went beyond our responsibility  but you wanted everything for FREE and that i can not do.

      We have never charged *******************  for any of the ** work that we have done the only two chargers she has ever paid for is the fan module not working which was a fact and the starter failing.

      everything else that we have done to the vehicle we did not charge for as a courtesy to her as she told us she did not have much money

      I just want back half of that $800 plus that I paid u for THE *** ** THAT WAS NEVER FIXED for as long as **** had it period ...... !!!!!!! I tried many times to get a hold of ***** from both *** and **** I don't know what your going by **** kept telling me that he was going to have it all ready for me so many times and never was it done for me ever time he said it was fixed it was not it would start blowing  hot air why didnt **** JUST TELL ME HE COULDNT FIX MY ***. Even when i took it the first timever to **** the ac worked for a week and then didn't work no more. I had to drive my car like that for a long time in the heat until I could get it back to ****. And I never said I was poor neither I JUST DID NOT WANT TP PAY FOR THINGS TO MY *** THAT DIDNT MAKE THE ** UNIT WORK . Please be kind enough to give at least 400 of the last services you all did and the car still didnt WORK!!!!! PLEASE ,, **** told me it was the starter that was $300"s plus a line that was $100 some thing. You don't know what I have through waiting and being told it would be ready from ****. I AM NOT TRYING TO GET NOTHING FOR FREE YOU DIDNT FIX MY ** UNIT but kept it until I had to tell **** I was going to go pick it up and just to forget it!!!!. So many people were like ******* what are they doing to my car that it was not even heard of to have the car in the shop for almost two months just for a ** repair. So please give me what my half of the $800 and I am not even asking for all of it back. Please be fair to me I have even sent customers to you and this is how you do your female customers WHY???????

      8/24/21 my 2008 ***** 3 was having issues, check engine light was on, the code was for trans axel. I took my car to choice transmission 8/25/21 They said to fix my problem they will need to change the speed sensor.The cost was $587.36 I got my car back 8/26/21. The car was running fine with no issues for about 2 weeks the same symptoms were happening. Some time around 9/1//21- 9/6/21 I took my car back to choice transmission, they Installed a new purge valve canister, replaced my gas cap, and replaced the speed sensor again.that time it cost $250.00 I paid and took my car home on 9/17/21. An hour after that check engine light came on. Took back following Monday.They then replaced my transaxle control module, cost was $987.50. Took the car home 9/28/21, check engine light came back on again. Took the car back about 1 week after, they ran more test then told me they couldnt fix the check engine light. Car cannot pass emissions. The argued with me and said they couldnt help me further.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  Choice transmission has had my vehicle for a few days now. I am hoping this issue gets resolved in a couple days time. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
