My husband and I hired ZeroRez to come out and clean our carpets and seal the floor and shower tile in our new build home before we moved in. They cleaned our tile floor (which they charged us for even though we never asked for it to be done) instead of sealing it, and never sealed our shower tile (which they charged us for). After moving in we discovered the tile was never sealed. We requested they come out and do the job we asked/paid for however they canceled our apt without letting us know and were a no-show. When we requested a refund the stopped responding to us. We were left without a choice but to open a dispute with our bank to request the money back for the tile cleaning we never asked for and the shower tile sealing which was never performed. Our bank sided with ZeroRez because the tile was cleaned and I couldnt prove we never asked for that. I have now opened a new dispute to at least try and get back the money for the sealing of the shower tile which was never performed (as confirmed by a third-party company we hired as suggested by the representative at our bank). This nightmare has gone on for the last 8 months. Save yourself time, money, and a huge headache by hiring a reputable company. ZeroRez should be called Zero-Integrity for how they treat their customers. I would not recommend ZeroRez to my worst enemy.Review from JW W

I am shocked the reviews are so bad on here. I have used them numerous times and had fantastic results every time. I had a cat at the time and they did excellent work going above and beyond getting hair and stains I wasn't aware of. I feel I keep a clean house and then after they came through it was amazing. It was very easy making an appt. over the phone with them. I am very surprised to see their rating and reviews. Too bad more people don't review when they are pleased with the results, because I know a lot of people who repeatedly use them. Anyways, super pleased with them and will continue to use them. The workers were very respectful and polite too! Overall, very happy.Review from Suzanne W.

Zero stars! We hired this company to clean the carpets in our home (and paid $556 for this service) and they literally left multiple bleach spots on the carpets in our loft. The carpets remained wet for over 24 hours (although we had fans on them in every single room and were told that they'd be wet for a maximum of 6 hours). Wet carpets = a hospitable environment for mold to grow. Our beautiful wooden railing in the loft was covered in overspray from the "cleaning" and one very obvious spot in a bedroom needed another pass or two but did not receive that, so we had to take our own carpet cleaner to it. We called them immediately and attempted to resolve this issue but it has been SIX weeks. We've made about a dozen phone calls to them with no resolution at all (well, at one point we were offered a $50 credit toward our next carpet cleaning, as if we would ever in a million years allow them to return). The manager is magically unavailable to discuss the situation. We have been very patient and very accomodating to try to collaborate on resolution here but have not been successful. They've probably literally caused a few thousand dollars of damage to our otherwise really great condition carpets. Absolutely awful, stressful experience. I suppose their name says it all. Wow. I had an appt scheduled this morning with these guys. I had Covid a while back and was on day 23, not contagious and not shedding the virus (I am a nurse), but I felt the prudent thing was to still do this contactless. I told all this to the scheduler when I made the appointment. Tech shows up this morning, I told him the above and he suddenly says he needs to get another tech out here that doesn't mind about the covid. Then I get a "cheerful" call from the scheduler saying we have to push the appt out a couple of weeks, there was a misunderstanding. I tell her I told them everything when I set up the appt. She tells me "I am still talking" and says I told their tech I still had covid (which I didn't) and their policy is a negative covid test. First I heard about negative Covid tests, funny thing I could have provided that if I had known before the tech showed up. THE **** DIDN'T ASK ME ANYTHING, just suddenly said he had immunocompromised family and would get someone else out here. I was 100% transparent. To the scheduler that was "still talking": you need some customer service training. The mistake was NOT mine. Normally I would have asked to speak to a supervisor but with her behavior I just decided to cancel the whole thing; never use this company, and tell 100 people about the awful experience.Zerorez Phoenix Response

I have no interest in further contact with your company. I acknowledge that you did what you could to try to contact me to reach a settlement. I told your scheduler what kind of review I intended to post as soon as we hung up.... If I can make a suggestion maybe refine your process so employees know to kick issues up the ladder if they are unable or don't have the authority to solve them. I used Zerorez to clean a handmade Persian rug. They took it to their facility to bath it which I was told by the technician that was the best way to clean it. When I got the rug back, the color was destroyed. The rug was dark green before it left my house and when I got it back it was a lighter green with ***** streaks along the entire rug. I had them take the rug back because they thought they could make it better. I went to the facility when they told me it was ready, and the rug looked the same with the ***** streaks. They told me these things happen and that there is nothing they would do try to make it better. They would not even refund me the cast I paid to have it cleaned. Now I have a rug that has substantial damage to the color. Keep in mind that the entire management staff was telling me the rug is find and there would be no compensation. No one wants to admit something went wrong. Also, I kept having to call them to get to this point even when I was told they would call me back the same day I was having to call days later to talk to someone. I am very hurt and disappointed by Zerorez and I had been a repeat customer until now. I will never use them again and I would not recommend them to anyone. There are many other companies that do just as good a job if not better with more integrity, then zerorez.
