Saw this provider on 2/3/2022 for a simple oral surgery consult. Unprofessional staff, rushed consultation, and quickly taken to the "finance person" to discuss the proposed procedure and payment. Insisted that general anesthesia was needed (out of network), and gave me an estimate of over $3k out of pocket. Refused to listen to my concerns and became argumentative and rude. I got up and walked out. Had the surgery done elsewhere. They had all my insurance info and personal info to bill accordingly for the short time I was there. I never heard from them. A year and a half later in July 2023, I received a bill for $65.96. I never thought it would be related to the failed consult from early 2022, and I thought it was for my wife's recent dental work, so it was paid. When I realized my wife doesn't go to this provider, I started calling them for a refund of the payment. Left messages. Sent emails. No returned calls. No returned emails. No returned texts. Radio silence from this place after over a week of trying to contact them. I finally called the scheduling person, who put me in touch with the office manager on the phone, who told me the charge was for the Feb 2022 visit. I inquired about the lack of timely billing, explained this was a surprise ****, and it was their mistake. She refused to listen, was argumentative, and maintained the charge was for the consultation from a year and a half ago, and due to some "billing issues they had", they're just getting around to billing me for it now. The same rude "tough luck you owe us" attitude I received before. They had all the information to properly bill this in a timely fashion. They did not. And due to their mistake, they are making it my problem now. Their online customer billing application will not produce an invoice nor receipt for my payment. I have repeatedly requested both and they have not been provided to date.
