Porter Electronics purchased a DVD/VCR combo unit from my **** store 6/24/2024 for 79.95/free shipping. After receiving the product, they requested a refund and sent the following:I could not get this unit to play a tape. The picture comes up but is frozen. I tried several Tapes with the same result. I would like to return this unit for a refund. ThanksThis business fixes electronics and sells them for 500% markup. By filing a false claim, that forces me to pay the return shipping (which is economically inefficient), Porter Electronics now gets their FULL refund back from me, AND gets a working $200 DVD/VCR player for their business.Business response

Dear BBB,I purchased a replacement for my **** M-560 V Miscro Cassette Voice Recorder from Porter Electronics in ******* ** on February 18th, 2022 for $127.09. I received the product rusted in the interior and called to request a refund. Porter send me a return request. I inadvertenly send my original M560, then sent them their unit as well.I received a credit for my purchase on April 20th, however after talking to **** (representative for Porter), I made arrangements to have Porter ship my original unit back. **** agreed, however never heard from him again. I have contacted Porter Electronics several times but no avail.I offered to pay shipping as well but no one is answering my calls at this point.I am requesting help from BBB to help resolve this issue. they sent an email with tracking #of replacement they were sending. did not receive item and ***** says it was ot picked.This company does not respond to email or voicemail...never answer the phone....I am at a loss. order # *****-2
