My washing machine does not agitate or spin out. It is under warranty through G.E.I contacted G.E. for service and they scheduled Tiger Mechanical to service the machine tomorrow between 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. Tiger mechanical then called me and said they won't be here, but could reschedule on the 19th of March! I took off of work to meet them and they canceled! I then called G.E. to complain and they said I wouldn't hear from anyone until Friday of this week, and if not I should call them back!!!??? In the mean time we have no washing machine and need to go to the laundrymat daily! This is the second time in a year that we have had to go through this with these people! The last time with the same machine was March of 2023!

I actually logged in and responded to this complaint when we first received notice on it.  I was out of the country and only because of receiving your latest email did I realize my response didn't go through, most likely because I was using my cell phone.

I will go back through this one.  The person who wrote the complaint as he has a GE washer is under warranty with GE for the first year.  He stated he had us look at the same machine before which is not the case.  He called in and spoke to GE customer service to schedule service on this machine which we have never touched or even looked at before.  We have very detailed records on all our customers' machines by their serial numbers due to we are factory authorized for multiple manufacturers which include GE.

This gentleman, which I am using the term only because he is a man, called into GE on a Sunday, March 3rd, and we received the dispatch at 6:54 on Monday, March 4th with a date scheduled for March 6th which we had no availability up in the *************** area due to we only have one tech covering not only ******** and *************** but also ******, Payson and surrounding areas.  Needless to say, that tech is booked out a couple weeks ahead at all times.  Our CSR that dispatches that technician called **************** to explain that we did not have the 6th available but was booked out until the 19th with the customer responding back with cursing and profanity to the CSR.  He stated that he spoke with us on Sunday and we confirmed an appointment with us then and she explained that he had to be speaking with GE due to we do not have hours on the weekend which I am sure you can verify by looking at our our office hours on our BBB page.

She did offer to put him on a cancellation list and if something comes sooner we would call him.  Our tech pulls 4-7 calls a week forward from where they are booked out in the future but he didn't want to hear this and hung up after using profanity yet again.  We received a cancellation notice from GE stating it had been reassigned, we did not refuse to service him or cancel his service call.  In addition, this is a warranty issue with GE, we cannot make the decision to replace the machine, only GE can.

This should not be a complaint for Tiger but with GE!  I will advise you however, GE did wind up re-dispatching this customer back to us for the same machine and I did however at that point refuse to service him.  I, personally, spoke with the customer and advised him to reach back out to GE because at this point, we are not going to service him and we had let GE know this when we received the last dispatch. He asked me what he should do and I recommended that he call GE back and request to be sent to a different authorized servicer.

Why would we when you used profanity with our CSR and then hung up and called GE back and cancelled that dispatch?  Plus, you then file a BBB complaint because we can't provide warranty service because of our availability?  We are even having to turn our regular COD customers away or wait because of being booked out, and yet they wait because they know there are a limited amount of qualified service companies up in the *************** area.

Please close this out and advise him that he needs to take this up with GE as they are the only one that will be able to provide the requested outcome he is wanting.  He wants the unit replaced and as I know this his second unit, same model, having the same issues I would recommend he demand his money back or go with a different model.

I have attached the recording from when he was cursing at our CSR.

      Regards,

On 8-9-22 I was given a quote of $130 for labor to fix my dishwasher. I was told that quote was good for one month. Today, the price is $145 because "you purchased your own part for us to put in and we couldn't **** it up so they ****ed up the labor." They gave me a quote and they need to stand by it.
