    My wife and I bought a brand new 2024 Yukon SLT diesel from Henry Brown GMC dealership 6-8-24. We picked it up on the following Thursday 6-13-24, and since then it has been in the shop 3 times since then for a check engine light and keeps coming up as the same code each time. We are seeking a new vehicle same making and model because there is clearly something wrong with this car and cant be a reliable vehicle for my wife, me and our child we are about to have in a couple months.

    I took in a GMC truck for a check engine light service. They said two things needed to be replaced. One an oxygen sensor, the other was a fuel tank pressure sensor. I later investigated if the parts were replaced. The O2 sensor was but the fuel tank pressure sensor was not. I want back to the dealership pretty upset as they attempted to get away with fraudulent conduct. When the evidence was very clear I was refunded over $600 (do not recall the exact amount). However I cannot help to feel like I was not refunded to full amount. Reason is because the bill for O2 sensor was still over $300. Most of you know that replacing an O2 sensor is like changing a spark plug.it was later disclosed that they charge $175 an hour and the installation of O2 sensor takes 3/4 of an hour.So If this part cost $60 and say they charged for the full hour. $300+ was definitely not justified. Also they had 3 full days to complete this work holding up their end of the bargain. If they need more time they should have said so instead of charging me the full amount and watching me drive off. People dont usually expect these things to happen at a dealership due to the price you end up paying. So please be assured, if the mechanics at this GMC dealership dont play fair the rest of the company follows suit.

    Our goal is always 100% customer satisfaction, and our service department is a source of pride for us. We made every effort to assist ****************. Despite receiving approval to perform the ***************** on his vehicle and furnishing him with his old parts as evidence of the repair, he still remained unsatisfied. In a show of good faith, not an admission of wrongdoing or fraud, we issued a partial refund for the repair in an attempt to address Mr. ******* concerns. Regrettably, it appears that our efforts fell short of meeting our goal. We are grateful for the opportunity to respond to Mr. ******* concerns. At this time, we feel we have done everything possible to help him.
