BBB requested the business provide background information, services offered and any business affiliations in relation to AM PM Plumbing, however this information was not provided. As a result BBB may not have current information about the business.

On February 3, 2017, BBB requested the business to substantiate, modify or discontinue a claim made on the business website at www.plumbing-mesa-az.com which states:

"When you call AM/PM Plumbing in Mesa AZ, you can be assured that you're going to get top-quality work done at a fair price — in fact, we guarantee it!"

"If you have a plumbing emergency, don't worry — we will be on the job within 2 hours of your call. We're available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays."

However, BBB has received information AM PM Plumbing may fail to respond to service calls in a timely manner. We have also received information in the event AM PM Plumbing does respond to service calls, the business may fail to make the proper repairs.

According to the BBB Code of Advertising 1.1, 1.2, 1.4 & 1.4, 20.1, 20.2, 20.3 & 20.5:

• "The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.

• Advertisements which are untrue, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, falsely disparaging of competitors, or insincere offers to sell, shall not be used.

• An advertisement as a whole may be misleading by implication, although every sentence separately considered may be literally true.

• Misrepresentation may result not only from direct statements, but by omitting or obscuring a material fact.

• When using the term “warranty” or “guarantee” in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale at the advertiser's location, viewed on the advertiser’s website or, in the case of mail or telephone order sales, made available free on written request.

• Advertisers should only use “satisfaction guarantee,” “money back guarantee,” “free trial offer,” or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request.

• When “satisfaction guarantee” or similar representations are used in advertising, any material limitations or conditions that apply to the guarantee must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed.

• Sellers or manufacturers should advertise that a product or service is warranted or guaranteed only if the seller or manufacturer promptly and fully performs its obligations under the warranty or guarantee."

Upon contact regarding advertising concerns, the business did not respond to BBB.
