Subject: Complaint Regarding Refusal to Honor Gift Card Value Dear Kokopelli golf course representative reading this message: I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally address a concerning issue regarding a recent interaction with your establishment. Specifically, I am disappointed by the refusal to honor the value of a gift card purchased at Christmas.On or about December 29, 2023, I purchased a gift card from your golf course as a Christmas present to a friend. The gift card was intended to be used for golf rounds and other amenities offered at your facility. However, when the recipient attempted to redeem the card on June 19, 2024 as their birthday approached, they were informed that it could not be honored due to the gift card being expired. Gift cards do not expire in ********This situation has been incredibly frustrating for both myself as the purchaser and the intended recipient of the gift card. I am disappointed that such an oversight has occurred and that the value of the gift card has not been honored as expected.I kindly request that immediate action be taken to rectify this matter. Specifically, I am seeking:That you please honor the full value of the gift card that was purchased. This includes allowing the recipient to use the card for its intended purposes, as per the terms and conditions outlined at the time of purchase.Considering the inconvenience caused to both the recipient and myself, I also request appropriate compensation or gesture of goodwill to acknowledge the inconvenience and frustration this situation has caused.I expect a response to this complaint within the BBB service level to discuss how you plan to address and resolve this issue.
