Below is a portion of the letter sent to Agave in an attempt to resolve the issue In short, the quality of workmanship received was extremely poor and we have since been informed by the *** they are not licensed to install lighting, which they also did incorrectly and possibly did so dangerously. They were slow to reply to concerns which prompted a professional inspection from the City and a well known company// Dear **** and ***, As you are both aware, we have shared a number of concerns since having your company install a PVC based irrigation system at our home Please know we seek a stress-free solution for all of us and as we shared, chose to work with your company given you are family owned and as stated on your website, are rooted in trust and integrity. The intent of this letter is to be very transparent and offer a solution. We are reasonable people trying to find a reasonable solution. As you know, we paid $3,960.00 for a PVC irrigation system that from nearly immediately after completion gave rise to a number of concerns.We have since contacted the City of ********** and had a site visit from an Outdoor Water Efficiency Consultant as well as a top referred irrigation company from ***** Outdoor Supply. In both cases, there were several documented findings by both individuals. These include but are not limited to; 1) Low quality multiport emitters were installed and in each and every case, they are leaking. 2)The irrigation control box is above ground (should be flush). 3) Incorrect emitter heads on pipes are resulting in over or under watering. Note: You claimed in person and on your website you are a professional Horticulturist and Arborist and these are basic install issues).4) Plants have over or under watered. In one case, the plant has nearly entirely died as well as stepped on and /or moved.5) Cut poly piping remains sticking out of the ground at various locations PVC under ground may also be leaking as no joints above ground have primer.Business response

Agave Tree & Landscape LLC takes consumer complaints very serious but was never allowed to see if *********************** (*****) complaint was valid. Allowing Agave Tree & Landscape LLC the opportunity to take corrective action.
Agave Tree & Landscape LLC is currently working with The Arizona Registrar of Contractors to address the concerns of ***************************** (*****). We have scheduled an onsite inspection for June 12, 2024 of *********************** (*****) property to address her concerns. On June 25, 2024 we also have on the calendar an inspection with an Investigator with the **** After inspections it was quite clear that Agave Tree & Landscape LLC was being falsely accused of faulty work performed by another contractor. Agave Tree & Landscape LLC is currently waiting on any findings from the ****
Agave Tree & Landscape LLC would like to make The BBB aware that this matter would have never been brought to your attention if ***************************** (*****) and ********************* had allowed Agave Tree & Landscape LLC access to their property, to address these alleged matters. Agave Tree & Landscape LLC was also never given access to the results from The City of ********** or the other irrigation specialist. Agave Tree & Landscape LLC sent technicians on several occasions and found no problems. Other than ***************************** (*****) and ********************* were not familiar with certain aspects of the irrigation system and wanted changes made at no cost. Agave Tree & Landscape LLC than worked for several months to schedule appointments to understand their concerns with no luck. Later to be notified that if Agave Tree & Landscape LLC did not refund $1,500.00 they would file complaints with your office as well as the ****
