Based on a positive recommendation from a friend, and two visits by the owner, we entered into a contract on May 30th, 2024 to have AZ Sun Solutions provide and install patio shades. We gave the owner a check written for 50% of the total cost. I tried to reach him starting on July 3rd to check status via phone (left vm), text and email. His email, and their website, are both down. Multiple messages left. No response from anyone. I contacted the shade supplier and they informed me that no orders have ever been placed by AZ Sun Solutions. Searching the BBB website, I see that AZ Sun Solutions have taken a deposit and not provided the contracted goods and services at least once before to someone else.Initial Complaint

The owner ****, was suppose to return in December **** to fix our remote control Black out shades. He has mot returned, nor has he returned our phone calls or text messages. We suppose to have a 10 year warranty and now the blinds are less than a year old.Initial Complaint

In Sept 2019, I had two motorized patio screens installed by AZ Sun Solutions. Since the installed, the screens have not operated properly. They continue to get stuck, squeak, come detached from the frame, or won't fully open. The owner and his workers attempted to repair the screens on numerous occasions. The last repair was in June 2022. During the repair, a worker punctured one of the screens which caused a three inch slit/hole. Since the screens are under a 10 year warranty, the owner promised a replacement. Due to supply chain issues, I allowed a couple months turn-around time. In Sept 2022, I tried contacting the owner via text and phone numerous times. No response. His voicemail is always full and cannot except messages. I tried the number on his website which apparently is his cell phone number. I sent numerous emails. No response. I finally sent an email on Sept 13, 2022, stating that I would connect the BBB if I did not hear from him by the end of the month. The next day, he sent an email claiming he was out of the country and just got back the night before. He said he would call the manufacturer that day to inquire about my replacement screen. On Nov 14th, I sent another text requesting a status. His response was, "The manufacturer is definitely working on the screens. Give them another 2 weeks and we should definitely have them by then." It is now Jan 2023 and I have not heard from the owner. I'm tired of chasing him down for warranty repair work. This is ridiculous. Whats the point of a 10 year warranty if the company does not honor it? Bugs are getting through the hole which negates the reason for having the screen. Not responding to customers is not professional at all! This companys claim about a 10 year warranty is a joke. It should say, youll get a 10-year warranty IF you can get in touch with **** want this company to honor my warranty and replace my screens. I want his done by the end of February 2023.
