On 9/9/23 Budget Movers packed my belongings to move long distance via *** tractor trailer. Many of my items were crushed due to negligent packing; a solid oak dining table, a dryer, a BBQ grill, and smaller items. The oak table was packed standing up with a couple boxes under it that had NO support and hundreds of pounds of boxes stacked on top. I have also never seen a dryer crushed so the drum would no longer turn (verified by a repair company), we had to buy a new one when we got there. When I called multiple times to see if they would cover some of my items and sent them pictures of the damage that I have attached here, they advised me they would not cover any negligence since I didn't use their truck, and the *** tractor trailer was "inferior". I cannot imagine how the shipping vessel would have stopped my items from being crushed due to hundreds of pounds of weight being packed incorrectly on top of my standing table and clothes dryer! They refuse to admit fault or cover my damage at all. I have moved several times and never saw packing damage like this. The management was very unresponsive and unwilling to make any effort to correct the situation. They also insuated I was there and should have watched their team and supervise them! I hired a moving company to use their expertise on packing my items for a safe trip. My kids could have done this move better! Their terrible packing cost me thousands of dollars in damage which no one wants to cover! I have also made a complaint to the BBB.Review from Jeff M

Well where do you start so because I was honest and stated that I was going through a possible addiction and about to leave they tell me that they don't accept evictions so they don't take money from normal people who are going through s*** absolutely unreal this place is a joke unbelievable If I could get it negative Stars I would give it minus 100 million

**** is not an actual customer. **** was upset that when I informed him that we don't do evictions. I have done an eviction in the past and it is not a pleasant experience and my employees felt very uneasy while doing the job since the person moving is not very happy and there had to be a constable present while doing the move. It is unfortunate that someone would leave a 1 star review while not actually using our service. Although I told him that we didn't do evictions I did offer a referral to a company that did.
