I went in for a consultation for a breast lift. I agreed to the terms. On 11/01/2023 i gave a $1,000.00 deposit. On 12/22/2023 I paid in full $11,600.00 for the surgery that was scheduled for 1/12/2024. On the evening of 1/07/2024 i was made aware of drastic allegations against Dr. ********************** **********************. The allegations are provided by two patients that he was performing surgeries under the influence of alcohol. The women felt pressured to move forward. These allegations made national news that include *************** and ******** amongst others. There was no attempt to reach out regarding the upcoming surgery that i had scheduled for the date provided above. I was then left with no other alternative but to cancel my surgery. I did not feel comfortable moving forward with the surgery. The two women both require reconstructive surgery. One woman already had reconstructive surgery by a different surgeon at the cost of $25,000.00. The other woman cannot afford the reconstructive surgery. These allegations make it psychologically impossible for me to move forward with Dr. ********************** **********************. I sent his office an email on 1/07/2024 immediately cancelling the surgery and requesting a full refund. His office did not reply. I had to call his office on the morning of 1/08/2024. I was informed that his lawyer would reach out to us via email. I was not contacted by his lawyer. I only received a blanket statement from Dr. ********************** maintaining his innocence and a copy of my contract. This made me feel as pressured as the women who made the allegations. There was absolutely no verbal contact from Dr. ********************** **********************. I don't see how anyone of sound mind could be expected to move forward based on the circumstances. I am requesting a full refund of $12,600.00 under the circumstances despite the binding contract. I am traumatized knowing that i could of been one of the victims.
