I hired *** Brown and Sons to replace my flat roof. I was pleasantly surprised at how thorough the customer experience and process were. From my initial contact with their receptionist asking way too many questions, to the scheduling and preparation, to the installation and cleanup, everyone on the *** team was courteous, knowledgable, and professional. We chose *** because they are one of the most seasoned roofing companies in *******. We did not want to sacrifice quality (or liability) for price. We took advantage of their financing program, which was very helpful.

I have been using *** ***************************** roofing company for 10 years now. I have been very pleased with their services and have referred them to my clients during this time. They are very timely, very honest, and they do what they say they're going to do very professionally. Their prices are consistent from what I've seen in the industry. I hired JBS Roofing to do ******* and I would not recommend anyone else but them. The ************* I had was discontinued but they offered a substitute tile that would match the original due to more than half the tile was still usable and saved me a ton of money by doing so. They placed it in a way that you cannot tell that theres 2 different tiles. They were on time, explained exactly where equipment and product would be placed in my yard and best of all......cleaned up after every day they were there. They completed the job on time and for the exact price I was quoted. I would definitely hire them again and encourage my friends and family to do the same

I am giving this company one star only because after three months of complaining and arguing with them, our roof is finally done correctly. We hired them to replace the underlayment on our tile roof. After two and a half days the workers packed up and left. My wife and I walked around the house and saw that three sections of our roof had brown tile on them (one clearly visible from the street). The original tile color was terracotta red which they put back on the rest of the house. We also saw improperly installed bird stop, mortar *****, one valley flashing, and weather blocking under the ridges on the front sections of the roof. I called the supervisor who showed up and should have been there to monitor the work, but who was rarely ever there. He came out and admitted that all these complaints were legitimate. He quoted us a new price of $750 to move enough terracotta tile from the back of the roof to the front to replace the mismatched brown tile they mistakenly put there. This price was to include all new tile for the back of the roof, including labor. When we got the new contract in the mail for this repair work, the price went up to $1,444. Our preference at this time was to fire them and hire a new contractor, but a VP at their office told us we would be required to pay 90% of the total balance if we did. After weeks of arguing with their VP we grudgingly agreed to the higher price. A new crew came out to do the repair work. After three days of work, and me regularly monitoring what the crew was doing and talking to the *******, the job was finally done correctly.My suggestion to any residential homeowner is to avoid using this company for any roofing projects.

This company had been recommended by two separate sources and we chose them to do our roof. WE WERE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED FROM DAY ONE ! Communication was terrible once the job started. The men did not show up when scheduled. We had to call to find out where they were. This took several days to resolve. Super did not seem to know when men were coming or how many . We spoke with the ** of the company about this early on. Daily clean up of our site was not great. And final **** included $550 that had not been in the original contract amount. We were shocked. When we called we were told this was for wood and that the super had told us in person . HE HAD NOT ! Then we were told ( 7/29) that super had called and told us . HE NEVER DID. We have paid in full the amount of the original contract. We have written letters twice to this company . And have called the **. They are unwilling to accept they made an error ! Offered to "prove " to us that wood was used on our job by removing tile, underlayment and taking pictures of the wood.! Do not want them on our property and do not know that we would be able to tell that wood pictures were new boards or old . THEY SHOULD HAVE DOCUMENTED this need for wood- if applicable- during the job with pictures immediately and a contract addendum so we would have known what the amount was going to be. How this was done is not acceptable. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
