In March 2022, ********************* with Advantage Solar Company ********************************** came to our home claiming to sell a solar panel system that would result in energy savings. We signed a contract for services with Advantage Solar for a system valued at $110,480. We then signed a 25-year loan contract with the finance company, MOSAIC, for the loan that was to be paid out to Advantage Solar Company and to the supposed installer of the equipment, OEJ Electric LLC. We have made monthly auto-draft payments to MOSAIC (and to their credit union affiliate ********************** for the past 2 years. During the first year of the agreement, ****** with Advantage Solar was only available to be reached after many phone calls were placed technicians came to our house off and on, never appearing to accomplish anything. At one point, some electricians came to our home to upgrade the panel box, which resulted in losing all power to our home. The panels that they had supposedly ordered never came in and they gave us some excuse for needing to use other panels. Since then, a portion of the solar panels were placed on top of our house and a stack of material is sitting in our driveway. ****** and anyone from Advantage Solar cannot be reached. MOSAIC gives us the runaround every single time we call them and they claim they have no record of funds being dispersed --- yet we continue to make a monthly payment of $480, to which we are bound until the year 2047. The only reason we have not stopped payment on the loan is out of fear of destroying our credit. Never in our lives have we been involved in such a scam and have no idea how to get ourselves out of this situation. Clearly from the tremendous number of complaints, MOSAIC, Advantage Solar and all of the companies they are affiliated with are criminals and frauds: ********************** ************************** ********************************** OEJ Electric LLC ********************************* ********************************************************** Please advise ** on how we can get out of this fraudulent loan.
