      I was never told my travel funds would expire within 6 months - 1 year. I was told that the database of resorts and hotels was endless - which is not true. I was told that my travel funds were enough to make several trips - but in reality you only get a minimal discount from inflated hotel/resort prices. I was told because I was a Westgate Resort owner I would never have to pay a renewal fee - which is not true. I would have been better off in staying with Interval. I am sorry to say I was scammed and lost $3100.00 to join.

      Westgate Cruise and Travel Collections is a scam and robs senior citizens of lots of money. I lost lot of points and they point to website for expiry and cancellation of points although account is active. Thieves, crooks and cheats, don't ever fall for this scam. I lost over $4000 with this and FTC should audit them, *** should arrest the rogues of this scam and customers who were robbed should file a mass action lawsuit.

      1/16/2024 - booked a cruise to ******/*********** departing 8/16/2025. Paid $729 (includiing $199 for insurance)3/14/2024 - cancelled cruise (personal reasons)3/15/2024 - notified that my refund ($250) was being processed. Travel insurance ($199) and "Processing/Cancellation Fees ($280) not refundable So, I cancelled a cruise approximately 17 months before the departure date and I'm being charged $479. Guess I won't be renewing this membership

      Buyers. Beware this company is a complete scam.. All they want to do is get into your bank account and give you nothing in return ************* has mastered the bait and switch, They show you fantastic photos and tell lies as soon as you walk through the door. If I could give this company 0 Stars I would. Our first trip to ************ was ruined by the lies and incompetence of this company. From the filthy resort to the rental car reservation . They promised my family a ocean view . We had to suffer with a garage under construction view . Noisy construction workers all day. . The rental car reservation was absolutely ridiculous . Got charged $ ****** on top of $717.00 upgrade because Westgate didnt book a car the would accommodate my whole family. My 4 year old could have done a better job than these people. People save your money and stay away for anything that has Westgate name on it.

      My family booked a cruise on a Celebrity cruise on Dec 28 and requested the transfer to Westgate Cruise and Travel immediately. We even filled the transfer form on the ship. As soon as we disembarked, we contacted the company and one of the customer service representatives called. The last communication was January 9 when we were told we just needed to wait **** days for the transfer to be effective. In the meantime, the website showed the booking as pending.The fact that we have not received any type of communication from the agent handling our booking (despite the numerous emails sent by us) or from any other member of the cruise department, and the fact that our cruise transfer from Celebrity that was supposed to happen weeks ago was just cancelled without an explanation or notice is simply appalling.We were assigned an agent when we first became members, and we couldn't reach him. After that we dealt with many representatives. In most cases, the experience was not pleasant, but this time, the level of disrespect and complete disregard for the customers has reached unbelievable levels.The time wasted, the money spent in memberships, and the frustration due to awful service is not worth the savings.

      this is horrible procedures I have spoken with 7 different people about my sign in to westgate travel and cruise as an owner i should not have to go through this. I spoke with a ********************, *****, and **** rudely hung up on **** have paid too much money to be treated this way when all it is is to unlock a service that should not have been locked. My sister booked with westgate and when she arrived at the hotel she was not able to get her room because the hotel said that they are not affliated with westgate. so of course she had to go to another hotel and then she of course canceled the payment because she was not able to stay. So as i am typing this i have been on hold waiting for a supervisor for 65 minutes now. this is not good at all westgate travel and cruise. and i am not hanging up. *****************************.

      I have never encountered more rude people than in the Westgate team. We purchased show tickets and were begged to go to a presentation. We were promised $100 and 4 free nights in a hotel. When we arrived they only wanted to give us 2 free nights and shortly after that said we were disqualified from the presentation because we had show tickets 2.5 hours after the start time. We were told it was a 90 minute commitment. They wasted a morning of precious vacation time and did so with callousness and rudeness. I would also add that their phone system is a huge mess. If you ever need to speak to a person you will find yourself list.

      I have been a member for about 10 years. I also just upgraded my membership, which was supposed to almost pay for the cruise. They quoted me a great price for an 8 night cruise. When they sent me the email to me with the pricing it was almost $1200 more. Took 5 days for the agent to call back. Her excuse was that she quoted off an outdated website and refused to honor the price. I asked for a manager to review the recorded conversation and call me back. When I finally did get a call back they had not reviewed the video, wouldn't review it, and refused to honor the price. I asked to speak to that persons supervisor 3xs and he kept putting me on hold and never got his supervisor. Over the last 4 days I have spent almost 7 hours on the phone trying to get the pricing they quoted me over the phone.

      The ********** reopened the dispute again because the ********** reached a decision without first reviewing the facts that a Chase CSR told me to acquire. I called Westgate Travel on 8/4/2023 at 4:50 PM5:17 PM with a Chase person on the phone ********* and we confirmed on the phone that you have 24 hours to cancel any cruise, exactly as they canceled prior cruises for me, which I have proof of. ** was just interested in receiving payment for the booking; therefore, he chose not to cancel the cruise with Royal Caribbean Cruise. I disagree with the Chase investigation See ***** notes "You disputed the charges because you believed the merchant didn't provide the services you purchased. Based on the information available, we found that you either received the service of the merchant or made them available for your use. We can't confirm your due credit because the services you purchased were received or available to use."On June 3, 2023, I called Westgate Travel to arrange a Carnival Cruise Line cruise and was scammed out of the cruise of my choice. ** informed me that the pricing he provided me for roughly $3454.00 was for two people, not three. I was able to book a cruise for three people with Carnival, proving that AL at Westgate was cheating **** called Royal Caribbean and spoke with ******************* and ****** from there, neither of whom returned my call or email. I'm not sure how they booked the sail date on June 3, because we booked on June 4th, which was a Sunday for me to sail from *********. It appears they changed the date to June 3rd. As a result, they may be compensated. Royal Caribbean had a difficult time finding the sailing dates.
