I paid the shop Owner ******* , $619.92 for Hair extensions I paid another 300 dollars for the installI requested a blonde color which she took a picture of a wig I was wearing of the color I wanted. She said she could dye it. I placed my order on April 3rd,2022 my Appointment set for May5th. When I arrived at my appointment, the hair was not ready or the color I wanted. I told her I would come back the following week, to give her more time to dye it the right color. I returned May 13th ******* she still did not get it right color. I told her I would try to work with the color. She said the hair was good quality and will last about 3 years. After 1 month I was upset the hair lost its curl the hair broke off it is now 16 instead of 24.I called her serval times left messages never called me back. Then finally went on line scheduled an appointment and added comments of how unhappy I was..she replied with denied appointment which I wanted to go to the shop and discuss restitution. She texted me and stated that she would give me half my money back. I texted her and told her I wanted all of my money refunded for the hair. She refunded me ******. I want my total refund of 619.92.I will attach picture the hair and text messages.. the color I wanted was the light blonde she died it to a light brown the hair is damaged.. sorry but this is not a $900 dollar job.. I just want refund for the hair not asking for install fee. Thank youBusiness response

This particular issue was resolved on the agreed amount of half of the hair cost being reimbursed. The customer then went on to say that she was taking legal action so I preferred not to speak about it.
********************* came into the salon to purchase hair and receive color on the hair and an install. I consulted with her exactly what she desired, let her know that the way we color and treat the hair takes time and the quality of the hair can be altered if not properly taken care of. I was also wearing a similar style of the desired color and style she was looking to get done which we discussed that she liked and would like a similar style but with the addition of the normal light color that she likes to wear. Which I also informed her that the type of artificial hair and hair color she likes to wear is slightly different from professional hair and hair color.
The first visit, the client didnt like the color that the hair came up too, even though we consulted about it. So we scheduled for the week after to give me time to get it to a lighter color. I let her know upfront that we can gradually get it to the lighter color she desired if she felt it was too dark. Proceeded to have a great service and her hair came out great. She even came back for her maintenance appointment about 2-4 weeks later. She told me how much she loved the hair color, quality and service she experienced although her color wasnt spot on. She also states that she loves her hair although the color is darker than what she was used to. This service happened in May of 2022. She called me one time at the salon while I was busy with clients and I let her know I would call her back to resolve her issue, by then it had been 2 months and she had worn the hair and install the entire time. When I called back there was no answer. I noticed she didnt show up for the standing appointment she had with me, and no call back afterwards.
My protocol is to fix the issue to the best of my ability with at least complimenting another hairstyle after the complaint. Which was done, the client left happy BOTH VISITS. It had been way past time for me to even reimburse her for what she was asking for either way. After putting my best forward, I decided to reimburse at most half of the hair purchase because at the peak of her reaching out, she still wore the hair and install for the desired time, which is normally **** weeks.
The decision for the reimbursement of the purchase of hair only for $204.19, came about because out of the $619.92, I deducted the ************* fees as well as $80 of the amount is a tip, $44.06 is the sales tax.
