*** installed interlock device in the full view of man who installed the device I could not get my vehicle to start.after questioning the man (two times) he went back into the building ignoring me I went into office & the office woman said they were done.My brother (after several tries ) finally got my vehicle to start.He drove it to my home parked it in my driveway. I have(afternumerous) attempts) not been able to start my vehicle. When contacting the co.who sells the interlock device (LifeSaver) they said they could not do anything to fix my vehicle so it will start.Im over 75 handicapped& suffer from COPD.my treating ***************** ************ .I need my vehicle for medical appts. & grocery shopping p/u prescriptions etc.I need help getting my vehicle so it's usable as it was prior to ARC diesel&auto rendered it unusable Thank You *******************Business response

*****, I received your complaint through BBB about your interlock device. I am unaware of any issues you had with the device after installation because there have been no follow up visits, emails or messages left in our system requesting any type of assistance. If you get the vehicle back to the shop in ******* we will gladly remove the device that you requested to be installed and restore your vehicle back to factory condition. Please return text message to this number or ************. We will be waiting for your response to get you scheduled to remove the device.
Like previously stated we will gladly remove the device if you are unable to use it, we just need to be informed so and have the vehicle present to do so. Please reach out directly to the shop at your earliest convenience so we can get this issue resolved.

They refuse to stand behind a warranty for not following the guidelines for a part installation that caused catastrophic damage to my vehicleBusiness response

Sir, we apologize for any inconvenience that *** have been caused by a heater hose getting a hole in it on your vehicle. However we replaced the exhaust manifold with aftermarket headers, you provided the parts and aftermarket non stock parts at that. We do stand behind that work that we provide but the fact that a none related part to upgrade that we performed on your vehicle failed does not mean that we are liable for paying for the repairs. The vehicle has a plastic holder which failed and caused the heater hose to contact your exhaust. An unrelated part failure is not something that is covered under a warranty for replacement of the exhaust manifolds.
