    My husband and I ordered a sectional back on November 27th 2020 and we have not received it yet. We have been in contact with the store time after time while trying to give reasonable time periods for "things" to work themselves out but we just keep getting the run around. They have not been able to give us a good reason why we don't have our sectional. It was originally scheduled for delivery in February of 2021 and just kept getting pushed back, then it was on the truck with no way to track it, then it wasn't on the truck, it was shipped then it wasn't shipped, there's no current information then the current info says it should have been delivered in July. Bottom line is we are almost 10 full months out from our order date and we have no furniture and no indication where it is or when we might be receiving it. I asked for a refund at the 6 month point but we can't get a refund without losing 20% of what we spent in the first place.

    Bad customer service all around. Purchased a powered recliner from sales floor demos. Was delivered late in an open bed pickup truck in the dust of the desert. Was not informed at time of sale about $100 delivery charge for a delivery 2 miles from the store. Less than 48 hours after delivery, decided the chair was not going to work for us. They will not pickup and return the chair without charging another $100 for pickup and 20% for restocking even though this was a floor model. Some BS about no longer being a new chair. It was a floor model... It was used when we bought it. Thankfully it was paid for with a CC so we have recourse. Tried to work with them. Was even willing to pay another $100 for the pickup and return. Nope, they insist they have to charge the additional 20%. ********************, informed us when asked before the sale, that return would not be a problem within 2 or 3 days.

    Thank you for taking the time to discuss the concerns about your mother's recent purchase from MattressLand & Furniture. We deeply regret any dissatisfaction she has experienced and we take this feedback very seriously.

    Our records confirm that all pertinent information, including the $99.99 delivery fee and our restocking policy, was clearly stated on the invoice that your mother signed at the time of purchase. Upon delivery, she had the opportunity to inspect the recliner to ensure it arrived in perfect condition.

    We understand your mother purchased the recliner with the intention of sleeping in it and has indeed used it for a night. This information is indeed significant as it helps us understand her needs better. Please note, however, that any use, even for one night, might impact the conditions under which the chair can be returned or exchanged, given that it's now classified as 'used' furniture.

    After learning about your mother's dissatisfaction, we proposed several resolutions including an exchange from any of our three locations, or a return with a 20% cancellation fee as per our store policy. This fee is necessary to mitigate potential losses from reselling a returned item at a reduced price.
