My daughter selected this business to cater her wedding this summer. A deposit was required to secure the date. I paid the deposit. A "tasting" was scheduled however Chef D canceled it due to health reasons. My daughter decided to not go forward with this business and a refund was requested. The business agreed to a refund but clearly never processed it while telling us for weeks that it was sent. ***** it was going to be there in 10 days, then it could take up to 30 days. Details of the refund were requested but never received.Initial Complaint

This business offered catering services on ****, we booked a tasting for our wedding and we paid a deposit of ***** to secure the date. There were issues with credit card payment so we used Zelle as a backup. When the tasting date came, we reached out saying we were happy to meet, and the number we were texting seemed to be unaware of the appointment. They then clarified that they were the chef's assistant, and he suffered a stroke. They offered to re-schedule and we agreed. The second date came and there was an excuse about waiting for MRI results. We said we wanted to cancel and have our deposit refunded. At this point we never heard back, and never got our money.Another person on **** left a review detailing an eerily similar sequence of events, and this gives us good reason to believe that this business is a scam in its entirety.
