Worst experience ever! My transmission failed and I took my vehicle to Advanced to have it rebuilt. I was traveling through *******, Az. to *****. ***, the owner, gave me the old song and dance about being a traveler's friend and taking good care of us. He took us alright! He charged me $6000, and of course would not return the vehicle if it wasn't paid. When leaving the parking lot, the transmission was making a whining noise. The mechanic said it was alright and just needed to break in. The transmission was shifting very hard and I called Advanced just to be told it would be ok. Halfway to *****, it started acting up really bad, banging real hard when shifting. I was closer to home than back to Kingman so I continued. I called Advanced several times on my way and was told that it would be worked out with a shop in ***** once I got there. After getting home, *** gave me a name of a shop in ******* that I could take it to. *** said he would make everything right. The shop found that there was no second gear installed. *** refused to believe it and demanded I bring the vehicle back for him to fix it. The vehicle certainly would not make it another 1100 miles back to Kingman for repair and *** refused to pay for the repair in *****. So, I have a $6000 paperweight.

My elderly parents came through Kingman in their RV on their way to visit grandkids. Their transmission went out and was repaired by Advanced Transmission. There as delays in parts and costs of hotels and rental cars. The repair lasted less than **** miles before it had to be rebuilt entirely. After initially stating they would pay a portion of the repair, advanced transmission is no longer answering phone calls. Even after settling on an amount far less than their cost this shop won't even honor this. The new repair shop stated the repairs we just enough to get them out of town. We will be taking other means to pursue the repair costs but would not recommend this place if you want to avoid headaches.

My Transmission broke down, I was towed to this shop, I spent 4 days in a motel, *** at Advanced Transmission called me 4 times asking if I wanted different heavy duty parts, I said yes on all of them, one was a shaft another was a torque converter, I don't remember the other heavy duty parts he told me, but I know the torque converter was my old one still full of metal that went through my transmission, destroying it. I only made it 240 miles to ********, **. was towed to Big ******* Transmission, That Advanced Transmission, only put a shaft in it and tried to kit the valve bode with two different kits, trying to bore it out and just destroyed it, had to pay for towing, 3 more nights in a motel, plus rebuilding the transmission again, costing over $5000.00, not counting what I spent in *******, for transmission, motel, rental car, which *** at Advanced Transmission told me he would make it right, RIGHT, I got my credit card people to go after him and the ********* Attorney General, I got the money I paid him, He should have had to pay the $497.00 dollar tow bill and the motel ****, he learnt nothing, he should have had to pay everything, he give back money he did nothing for, he learnt nothing.
