On 3/13/22, my wife and I purchased a swivel plate that would allow our van seat to rotate. We received the part over a month later. I noticed several quality issues that posed safety hazards. The issues include significant play when the plate is locked, a sharp handle protrusion that could cut someone's leg, s**** holes that are too big to secure the plate, and sharp, rough edges that contact the airbag wiring. Additionally, the product was not the same as the one shown online. On 5/5, I contacted Discount Van about these issues. I requested a refund and asked the company to take its product back. The owner became combative on the phone, called me a liar, and tried to convince me that my concerns were imaginary. He told me he would ignore any photos or videos I sent when I offered proof. Furthermore, he said that if I wanted to return the part, it was subject to a 30% restocking fee, and I had to pay for shipping. On 5/6, I sent the company proof of my complaints about the part. On 5/9, Discount Van responded with a refund offer but no shipping assistance. The company refuses to engage on my safety concerns, sold me a low-quality part that wasn't advertised, and is attempting to shift the shipping burden to me. **** estimates return shipping will cost $57. With the shipping I already paid, I would lose almost $90 plus time spent on documentation, communications, and installation.I'm filing this complaint to hold the company accountable for its bait and switch tactics, misleading advertising, poor product quality oversight, and disregard for customer safety. I'm also pursuing a full refund and shipping label. Through forums, ******* and ******** reviews, I have found that others experienced similar issues with Discount Van. I ordered two seats and bases for my **** **** E350 van. Model of the seats is Vista SRO. Since these are ordered via the web, it is difficult to determine exact fit, although after talking to them I trusted that they would be of good quality and be comfortable. Sadly, once they arrived, they are horribly uncomfortable (big roll under seat rest). I also noticed that the seats wobble by several inches - clearly unsafe. I have talked to them and they are telling me that there is a 50% penalty to return the seats and a 30% penalty for the bases. I suggested a more reasonable restocking charge - which they refused.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on 10/25/21 that was supposed to be shipped in 2 days. I have still not received this, and it's 1/18/22. I have called every month to check the status. Everytime I call, I'm told my order is "in production" but no one can tell me what part of production it's in or if the product has even begun to be made. When I called about this being late in October/November, I was told it would be 6 weeks--this is way past the 6 week ****. I called today, 1/18/22--almost 90 days later--and still no one can tell me what part of production this in or when I can expect delivery. I want a full refund at this point, but was told I could only be given a 30% refund. This is ridiculous. It's been almost 90 days, I still have not received my product, and they don't know if the product has even been made--now they are refusing to refund me when goods have not been produced or delivered as promised. I WILL NEVER order from this company again nor do I recommend using this company.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on 10/25/21 (Invoice #***** for stock #******, Full **************** Seat Kit/Fabric or Vinyl, color VY202 Moondust Vinyl) for $699 plus $129 freight charges totaling $828. It was supposed to be shipped in 2 days. I have still not received this, and it's 1/18/22. I have called every month to check the status. Everytime I call, I'm told my order is "in production" but no one can tell me what part of production it's in or if the product has even begun to be made. In November, I was told it would be 6 weeks, in December, I was told it would be 12 weeks from the original order date of October. I called today, 1/18/22--almost 90 days later--and still no one can tell me what part of production this in or when I can expect delivery. I want a full refund at this point, but was told I could only be given a 30% refund. This is ridiculous. It's been almost 90 days, I still have not received my product, and they don't know if the product has even been made--now they are refusing to refund me when goods have not been produced or delivered as promised. I WILL NEVER order from this company again nor do I recommend using this company. I am submitting a complaint to formally request a FULL refund for 100% of the amount, totaling $828.00 for goods/services never rendered, sent, and received.Initial Complaint
