What the company offered online & in person sales description was not truthful & did not divulge important information about the maintenance of the boat that I purchased even after I had asked what was done to the used boat at the dealership. All I was told was that it had a supercharger replace/rebuild. Within three weeks of buying the boat on July 14, 2023, on Aug 5th, the motor died & would not start. About October I finally got a mechanic to look at it & discovered the timing chain had broken. I called the dealership to let them know & asked service **** for maintenance records. I was told they didn't have any & to contact the company they had the work done on it. I contacted ******************* in ****************** sent me the complete ************** from what ** *************************** had done prior to me buying it. I was also told by the owners of Tech One that the boat was on consignment to the ***************** had taken the boat out to do a test run and blew the motor. Tech One said US *************************** told them to rebuild the motor as quick & as cheap as possible in May of 2023. When I told the dealership what the problem was, they said I should have let them know sooner. I asked them to cover the cost of the estimated $3000 engine rebuild because what they offered me & what they sold me where not the same because the engine was not original to the boat because they had Tech One put in a used block & used parts along with OEM. US *************************** sales person ***** said they would see what they could do & felt it wasn't their fault as it came with no warranty. They never offered me at any time during the sale an extended warranty for an extra cost. Had US *************************** been truthful about the boat ******************** rebuild I would have second guessed my $30K decision to purchase this boat & certainly would have agreed to pay for an extended warranty. US *************************** had said maybe they would cover 10% but called & said they are not at ********* believe they are 100%!
