On 12/6, in coordination with Ironwood Construction, I had ****** Glass (RG) come to our home to bid a new glass shower enclosure. RGs website states "free estimate- see attached.On 12/10, I received the proposal via email for the glass, hardware and labor, NO other fees, attached. On 12/10, I called RG to give verbal approval of the proposal and our personal credit card for deposit. On 12/22, my card had not been charged, so I called RG for an update, was told the glass WAS ordered, but they apologized for the card not being charged. On 12/27, they called Ironwood Const. and assured them the glass was ordered, but they couldnt find MY card number to pay for it. I called RG on 12/28 and gave the rep my info. I continued to receive very poor customer service, and no apology for the errors.I called again on 1/3/22 asking about glass delivery and no charge on my credit card. They asked for the card number AGAIN, and this time they wanted a signed proposal claiming it was why the glass wasnt ordered, even though they gave verbal confirmation it WAS twice already. I signed the proposal and emailed it back. RG emailed back with confirmation, see attached. On 1/25/22, I called for the 4th update and spoke to ***** who said glass was STILL NOT ordered. She said they had to come back out to start the process over, and she would get back to me the next day. At this point they finally billed my credit card $1253.3 deposit and said they would order the glass and call me by the end of the day to schedule the remeasure.She never called back, and I canceled via phone with ****** on 1/26. I was refunded $1173.36. I called to find out why there was $80 missing from the original total charge, and they said it was a site fee, which the manager very rudely explained with no remorse for all the turmoil wed been put through. This fee was never mentioned to us, nor on any paperwork or website. I am asking for the remaining $80 to be fully refunded.
