      Our home suffered storm damage back in July, being an eldery couple we were unclear what we needed to do. One of my cleaning clients recommended we call a public adjustor to coordinate with our insurance company. So we contacted ********* at Aware Owner LLC in ****. They had a representative come to our home 15 minutes after we called. We live in ***** ** in the blue hills, we were quite impressed and surprised how quickly he was able to arrive. We signed with them and the negotiated with our insurance company we were told that if we used their preferred contractor that it would be at zero cost to us for their service. They preferred contractor operates out of the same address and suite we later found out. Rapid Response, we signed the contracts back in September, the project was delayed and not started until December. After multiple issues and incomplete work they are no longer returning our phone calls but have somehow cashed the checks that were written from State Farm to them and my husband without his consent. Our home has been left with unfinished repairs that we are now forced to try and find solutions for though we are on fixed income and both disabled. It's disappointing that we trusted someone who claims to have a license however they do not abide by what they tell you. I'm attaching a zip file of all my communication and pictures.       I have read and reviewed the complaint and I disagree 100% with what ************************* (Client) has stated.
      The fact of the matter is the construction project was managed with precision and close communication was maintained with Client.
      As for the scope of repairs that were made to her home, prior to construction our office executed with client a construction agreement along with a detailed construction checklist, both of which were signed by the client. It should be noted all of the items listed on the checklist were agreed upon items to repair with her insurance carrier and were completed by our company.
      After construction was completed we went to the client's property to check construction quality and all the repairs. Client is ultimately happy with the repairs and the representation. As a matter of fact Aware Owner is currently working for the client to continue the representation on additional items on the property. We believe this has all been resolved and should be removed.

      10/2020 person knocked on my door (I am 80) said would replace roof with no out of pocket costs to me. Sent me paperwork showing added a lot of interior work and only patching the roof and charging me additional money. Discussions continued till may while they collected insurance money and for Bally agreed to not do work inside & waive the extra fees. Said next avail date was September. I said dont cancel I will call you back. Two weeks later they sent check saying canceling order but kept most f the insurance money. Want job done or return all insurance money so I can hire someone else.

      Hi, after reviewing your file we did sign up with you October 2020. We first met with your insurance in October  and documented all the damage on your roof. Insurance failed to pay a fair claim, and their first offer was barely above your deductible. We then discussed options and we both agreed to go to appraisal.  We fought this claim through appraisal for 2 months and increased the claim nearly 400%. Unfortunately, it was still not enough to replace the roof due to your insurance only wanting to pay for patches and not full replacement. We then had 10+ meetings and phone calls with you to try to give you every option possible to help you as much as we can. We even coordinated with a contractor that offered to pay out of their pocket to make patches to your roof, free of charge, however they were not accepting liability for any repairs they might make because the repairs would have been for free and their recommendation is you need to replace a bad roof that is already leaking. We first discussed these options in February and we even waited until June for you to decide on what youd like to do and still we never received a decision from you. We are still willing to resolve this matter, feel free to call our office tel:********** to discuss further.
