To whom it may concern We purchased our ******* 16 seer, HP **** AC unit from newacunit.com. Farnsworth the company we chose through new a/c unit.com installed the unit but unfortunately has gone out of business!We had the unit serviced because unit was rattling and a/c wasn't so cold! The technician discovered the main coil on unit had ice on it which after defrost found a huge leak.Coil needed to be replaced but part was covered under warranty just have to pay for labor. Ouch, but what are you gonna do!The disturbing part is the reason for this email.The technician found the entire handler unit propped up on 2x4's but on top of the drain pans not allowing to be suspended in case they need to be replaced.In time with this hard water we have the pan will corrode and we will need to replaced but a much more costly rate due to the fact Handler will need to be lifted!We went with new acunit.com because of your great prices,great interactive ordering system and great ease of service throughout to install;However paying the extra money years ago appears to be the better call to avoid my headaches today!!Frustrated

I had a new AC installed in May 2022 because of *****'s recommendation because old unit would have costed me about $3,000 to maintain. I wish I would have got a second opinion. I was told that I would have 3 year semi-annual maintenance, 2 whirly birds installed at a discount and duct cleaning included. I did get whilrly birds installed at discount but that is it. I have contacted them many times concerning the duct cleaning. I never received a response. I check receipt. It was not on it. ****** learned. Get in writing. I recently called to get fall maintenance done on new system. Office scheduled it. I received a call from ***** stating that they could not touch ac unit for a year because or warranty on unit. I also finally agreed to pay for the duct cleaning to get it done. I was given a date of Oct 10 by *****. It was a no show. No call. No nothing. I sent several messages with no reply. Wasted day. I asked that he provide me with warranty information on unit. Still no reply. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Makes me wonder if they will even service maintenance after 1 year. If not, I plan on taking them to court for breach of contract. Once again. Do not use !!!!!!!

Farnsworth turned out to be a complete fail in servicing my ** units, and later I found out they did a poor job in installing the new unit in the first place. During the annual A/C check ***** the tech indicated the new units condenser was failing and should be replaced and that the new units drip pan was badly rusted and not draining properly. He did not have a replacement condenser in his truck and also did not have a vacuum to blow out the clogged primary drain. I asked him to install the replacement condenser and blow out the primary drain line. He never returned.In the Phoenix August heat, the condenser on the unit he installed 3 years ago failed and the unit would not operate. I called for service on a Monday evening, ***** came on Wednesday and said the **/Heater needed a software update, but that he did not have the correct phone to install the software.I called the Farnsworth office several times and was told they would get back to me but never did. After my fourth call, I left a message and the Manager *** returned my call. *** said they just did not have the technical staff available to fulfill the terms of the service contract, and no tech available to come out until the follow week. His suggestion was to find another service company. I called a local service, Cool Breeze *********** They found the condenser had failed but was still under warranty, and installed the replacement immediately. As part of his inspection he went into the attic to examine both ** units. The ** unit and drip pan was installed off level, so the primary drain was actually draining on an incline, forcing water to pool and cause a rust stain in the drain pan. He also discovered the install failed to take advantage of the units built in two stage energy efficient capability. Cool Breeze came back a day later to correct the primary drain issue and to rewire the unit to work properly. I contacted Farnsworth and told them I expected the to do the right thi

PLEASE READ...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! My rating is a ZERO but I had to pick one star. I purchased a new AC unit through NewACunit.com & was assigned this contractor. Long story short...my new unit was installed (incorrectly), wasn't cooling as it should, I was told by the service guy it needs a new ***** ****** were working with the manufacturer to locate one for me. Next day I receive a call from ******* at Farnsworth saying they found the part & would be out the next day to install. Guys showed up, worked on the unit for 2-3 hours, fixed the condensation line (which wasn't done initially), & was told my system should work. Later that day the same issue was happening...my house was not cooling as it should. I left ********* for the owner *** Farnsworth, left messages w/ after hours assistant, & as of today I have not heard from anyone! I contacted NewACUnit.com, voiced my frustration regarding this issue, the terrible service from their contractor, & was told they were doing everything they could to find the part! No one informed me the part was not installed! No one from Farnsworth, especially the owner, didn't have the decency to let me know what's truly going on! This company is unethical, dishonest, & I feel their workers are incompetent! I called another HVAC contractor today & literally in 5 minutes he found the required manufactured part & will be installing it for me along with checking everything on the original install as I expect there to be issues! I've experienced undo stress, living in warm temperatures, & had to cancel my vacation because of all of this. No one should have to go through an experience like this. I noticed this company is not a BBB accredited one most likely because of the terrible rating it would receive.
