      They prompt and sent a technician as soon as possible when **** arrived he did a thorough inspection and gave us our options. And then he had it up and running with in the hour my husband and I are very pleased

      I had them review and install an HVAC system they recommended. A Gree/ Ultra 3 ton heat and cool system. After installation they replaced a structural brace that had been damaged by them. In doing so they ruined my gutter. Rather than replacing the 20' piece, they rehung it with all the dents in it they made. I wouldn't accept it but they refused to do anything about it.Now that I've had time to use the system, it does not keep up. I texted them and they just said there is a 25-to-30-degree difference in what it will cool from the outside temperature. what I told them was that when it is 110 degrees outside my place will not cool below 83 degrees. They said they would let their service department know. Well it's been since July 8 and I haven't heard a word. Meanwhile I am sweating in a house I just spent over $12K to ensure this wouldn't happen.

      So, a few weeks back my 10-year-old ****** 5-ton A/C decided to act up. Now when I bought my house this unit was supposed to have been 1 year old and the previous owner claimed to have installed it himself as he used to be an A/C technician. My home inspection showed it wasn't installed correctly and I had Magic Touch Come out and inspect the install. They suggested a couple of things be corrected, but said it was "ok". Not the way they would have installed it, but "ok". Well, I had problems with this A/C unit once or twice a year every year since I bought the house. This last time it had leaked refrigerant and the *** valve needed replacing. That was not going to be a cheap fix and still would not tell me for sure where the leak was coming from (they replaced the valves, but that was just a maybe) and testing the system to find the leak is also not a cheap task. With the possibility of having to spend a bunch on repairs I decided to purchase new instead of repair.****, one of their salesmen came over to the house and discussed options. I decided on a Gree heat pump unit. Magic Touch had their technicians scheduled and at my house 5 days later. Not only did they arrive on time as scheduled, but all the technicians and the Install manager were extremely polite, kept everything clean, worked with minimal interruption on my part (even brought a portable unit for my office to use while they were doing the install) and got everything done in a timely manner. **** went over everything with me, even the *** rebate and the tax credit. I couldnt be happier with the installation team!It has been running for a couple of weeks now. It is so much quieter than the Lennox system I had before. I have to go outside to hear it at all, which is really nice. My new Gree unit also cools my house a LOT faster than the old unit did. And now for the first time since I bought my house, I don't have a concern regarding my A/C any longer. Thank you Magic Touch!!!!

      my ac stopped working in **** 2022. I bought this house new and moved in **** 2018. Have an extended warranty on the ac system. I called the installing contractor but they could not get to me for 2 weeks. I went online, searched Lennox Warranty Repair and Magic Touch popped up. I called, they were able to send a tech over right away. He went in the attic, said there was a problem, the plenum was open and the coils needed cleaning. He went outside and said the capacitor was bad. This is a new house. I asked about warranty service and my extended warranty. He said Magic Touch does not do warranty claims. It was **** it was getting hot, i ok'd the service. He presented me with his tablet. On the screen was a signature line for me to sign, nothing else visible. He had me sign 2 contracts, 1 for the capacitor done right away and another one for 1/2 the cost of the service in the attic to be done at a later date. He replaced the capacitor. That bill was $75 for the trip charge and $375 to change the capacitor. $450? Really? Kind of a rip off! enough said about the capacitor, the ac works good now. I called the original installing contractor and told them what was found in the attic. They sent a tech over immediately, fixed the problem, performed a complete service on the entire system, apologized, thanked me and left. I talked to Modern Touch and said I didn't need the attic service anymore and I asked for my deposit back. I was informed they have a no refund policy and would not refund the money. That is a nice side hustle they have. Don't explain their contract, charge up front for future work, then don't reimburse when the work is not required anymore. They were impossible to talk to, would not budge on the refund. Very unethical!

      As the owner, I personally investigated your claims after seeing its been 1 year since we provided same-day, emergency repairs on your AC. To set the record straight as it was clear you lied in your review. 1) It is literally impossible for a tech to present a tablet with just a signature line. 2) The software captures the scope of work, terms, price, and signature in ONE screen it CANNOT be changed. Not only did you see it that day, it was e-mailed to you that day (and time stamped that you opened it), and 2x since as weve been communicating that same message to you for 1 year (each time you threaten **). 3) The tech did NOT say we do not process warranties he said he had a universal part on the truck and could fix your AC that day OR you could wait for your installing company to come as you said you had an extended warranty through them. YOU told him you wanted it fixed because the other company wouldnt come for 2 weeks. 4) The tech observed an air flow issue and you wanted him to diagnose it. He spent 2.5 hours in your attic and discovered a massive duct leak left by the installing company which pulled years of attic dust into the unit. AFTER your unit was cooling, you used our diagnosis, time, parts, and money to get the installer to fix their mistakes. THEN you tried to get the factory to warranty the part you knew wasnt covered. You sir are the unethical party. Weve literally won the BBB ethics award and your review doesnt match all the others on this site.

      Bravo! I knew you would answer my complaint as you have so many other complaints against you on this site. Why are there so many complaints against you on this site? The common denominator is you! Lets set the record straight, your words. 1,2) The tech after explaining the repairs and the charges, by the way, that was the first time I noticed I was paying a trip charge of $75.00 added to the repair cost, flipped to a signature page that showed only a signature line for me to sign on. I know, I was there and I signed it. Get reacquainted with your system! 3) The tech did say you do not file warranty claims! 4) the tech was in my attic for no more than 30 minutes. I know, I was there. After he told me you do not do warranty claims, and told me I had to make the claim, I made the claim. I was told by ****** that I, the consumer can not file a warranty claim., only the installing contractor can. Oh, and by the way, the part under warranty was the capacitor which was a warrantied part. Now who is the unethical party? Get your story straight! You are not telling the truth, you are unethical and you are a thief.

      We engaged Magic Touch to come out 10/21/22 to assess and fix two interior natural gas fireplaces and an outside gas fire pit (replace the fire pit ring) regarding our 21 year old home. The technician likely could have at least fixed the ****************** on the existing interior switches for a nominal cost with new switches, but he did nothing but quoted ridiculous prices to not only replace the switches but to also fully replace the fireplace assemblies and to even lay back the existing fake logs back in position. (Our fireplace manual informs how to properly and easily lay these logs in the correct position, but he quoted $288,75 if we wanted Magic Touch to do this just for the Living Room fireplace alone!) The fire pit ring replacement quote was also extraordinarily high and excessive. In sum, no work was performed, just a "look". This "repair" was a complete waste of money, charging us $417 to "look" at our fireplaces and fire pit. Very disappointing performance in light of this firm having an overall very good review on BBB. Save your money, go elsewhere.

      Hi, we investigated your review and found the certified fireplace technician did exactly what you requested at the price you were informed of and agreed to at the time of booking your call: Diagnostics on 2 gas fireplaces and 1 gas firepit. He spent a total of 2 hours diagnosing what the issues were with all three for $139 each. He spent a total of 3 hours on your job including travel there and paperwork. In listening to the recorded call when you booked, you were fully informed it was $139 for the service call and diagnosis per appliance and repairs were not included in that price and would be quoted upon the technicians completion of the diagnosis. Your file includes over a dozen pictures showing readings from the techs voltage meter, etc. evidencing he did more than just a look during his 2 HOURS of testing on site. As you pointed out our very good review on BBB, youll see in reading them that not just here but across sites we have literally thousands of very happy clients who specifically mention fireplace repairs. They were written by people that respect the cost of great service, well trained professionals whove spent their whole lives investing in education and training to provide these repairs and stand behind them. In closing, youll find when you look elsewhere, our pricing is significantly lower than our competitors with the same qualifications and very good reviews. We wish you the best of luck on all your future endeavors thanks for the undeserved poor review!

      Magic Touch sent ***** and ******** to our home to diagnose and repair our indoor gas fireplace. I could not be more pleased with both of the servicemen. They respected our home, was professional, polite and was very thourough and knowlegeable. Our fireplace had 2 problems. We decided to have ***** and ******** install the switch that upgrades my firepace automagically! They had the parts at the warehouse and will be out to install tomorrow, 10/27/2022. I am very happy and excited to be able to use it this winter. I will update and add another review after the install. Yes, I will use Magic Touch again.

      AC not working, Technician responds ($75 charge) and states it is probably a system leak but he does not have the proper gauge to confirm the source. Offers a $2,395 contract to correct the leakage problem and states he will return in three days with supervisor. I agree to the contract as an expression of loyalty and trust. Three days later they return, look at the equipment and present several fixes that all involve 2 to 4 week lead times and $2,000 to $3,000 for a new coil. Total system replacement is 2 to 5 weeks lead time! I stated their proposals were unacceptable due to excessive lead times. Engaged with another supplier who replaced the system two days later.Magic Touch retained $993 of the contract even though they performed no work. They refuse to discuss or negotiate this excessive charge.

      As you know, there was most certainly NOT a refusal to discuss, you've had 3 very lengthy discussions with both company owners personally. You were charged only for services provided which you both requested and authorized in writing. The services were provided as agreed, and you were charged only for those services. Your options were discussed in great detail and documented in writing PRIOR to your authorizing work provided. The fact that you need to knowingly lie about multiple facts in your review, change your story multiple times, and reason for your complaint each time, demonstrates you know you are wrong and simply don't care. As I, the president of the company, already personally told you in one of our 2 discussions (you know... the "refused" discussion mentioned in your review here) - I carefully reviewed the entire situation, your complaint, and the facts and discovered and determined you were simply using threats of filing complaints as a form of blackmail and have no legitimate complaint. As I also told you personally, I sleep well at night knowing my team acted ethically, fairly, and transparently, each and every time you've ever interacted with us - based on your written false claims, it's unfortunate for you that you cannot say the same.
