Contractor did not provide a written contract. Pictures of improper installation of air conditioner and components, i.e. ducts and pan which created flooding in ceiling was sent to contractor. I (homeowner) contacted Old Republic Home Warranty regarding correcting improper installation and repair flooding caused to ceiling, pictures of damage also sent to home warranty. Old Republic Home Warranty contracted another contractor, ***** Electric to assess fixing the improper installation. I understand ***** Electric submitted findings, but never heard from them about their findings. Tried to get copy of report, but was unsuccessful. A-1 Speedy (The Original Valley Services) was contracted again to fix the installation problem. After several weeks and telephone calls a technician was finally sent to properly install air conditioner. I was also informed they would get me info on who to file liability claim for damages with, but was never given information. I contacted my homeowners insurance company Liberty Mutual who contracted ********************** They came out to do water mitigation and to assess for molds. Part of ceiling had to be removed and restored. Restoration was done by C&R Construction. I paid out a total of $2068.85 for water mitigation and restoration of which I am seeking reimbursement.Business response

We explained to ****** that we were not contracted to replace the secondary drain pan or to replace or modify her ductwork. Also, ***** did sign the service invoice that has a link to our terms and conditions that state we do not warranty condensation drains or pans since we have no control over previous or future maintenance on these items. The installing technician did return and discovered the customer had not changed her air filter which was extremely dirty, causing an air flow restriction which resulted in poor performance and a vastly increased amount of condensation from the coil. We advised ***** that the filter needs to be changed monthly and that if it is not the unit will likely have the same issue. We installed a float switch at no extra cost that will prevent the unit from running if it is producing more condensation than the drain line can handle. I can provide pictures, the invoice and her signature if you would like to see it but we will not be paying for any damages as they were caused by her not changing the air filter regularly and by existing deficiencies in the system that we were not hired to correct or replace. We have also already gone above and beyond to attempt to prevent future issues with her HVAC system. Thank you for you attention in this matter.Best regards,**************************;
