Several times I have tried to get my blood thinner renewed and had difficulty doing so. But it is MY fault it doesn't happen. Put in a request via my pharmacy Thursday, talked to someone early today. Guess what - prescription still is not renewed. And they are playing games to ensure I am in compliance when it is there system that is broken. Love my doctor. Just so done with their system.

**************** just mistreated my wife so severely during an office visit (1:00 8/16/22 *******) that she's still in tears after driving home. He raised his voice and yelled. He accused her of "not calling the office" since 2020. She's called half a dozen times, usually following up because they never do. Then he opened the door and asked her to leave, after taking a personal call on his cell during her appointment. What the h*** happened to this guy? she will never go back. It's a good thing I wasn't there, but of course he wouldn't have done any of this if I had been. No surprise this practice has 2 stars

Hard to review these guys. My wife, like every other patient of Tri-City Cardiology, loves their doctor and teams. It's the telephone system that is chasing people away and forcing them to leave bad reviews. Apparently they don't read reviews because almost every person says the same thing. You would think they would decide their system needs a revamp with more phone staff. Most folks dealing with cardiologists are OLD and don't know and don't have the energy or patience to deal with the phone system. It's the same way every time we call. They always tell us they know it's a problem and someone is working to fix it but it only gets worse. For us, the final straw is getting a prescription of an injectable cholesterol medicine. The doctor sent it to our pharmacy and we picked it up that one time. Then we received a letter in the mail from our insurance telling us we aren't allowed to do that, that we are required to go through out insurance "Specialty" pharmacy. They said they would contact her doctor. After a few days I called to see when they were shipping the medicine only to find out it had been canceled BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T GET AHOLD OF THE DOCTOR!!! After 4 attempts they gave up and canceled her order!!! Plus they REFUSE to let my wife home monitor her INR and yet they are only open 2 days a week and end up sending her all over the county to get her finger poked. We can do that at home! She got her family doctor to approve one and they sent it out and she spent an hour getting trained on how to use it. And my wife's levels are always off. That's why we'd like to check it weekly at home. But they refuse. Moving on to a new cardiologist.
