      I purchased 3 new devices during a promotion and should have received $150 credit applied to my account. Months later they continued to say the credit would appear on my account soon. Life got busy, family emergencies occurred and I forgot to continue pressing. 9 months later I contacted again and they finally admitted they made a mistake and offered me $100 credit, but put the credit on a phone line that I intended to disconnect. They refuse to put the credit on any other account or offer a refund because I have overpaid them. I am told if I cancel this line the credit will be lost. They admit this is totally their mistake, but refuse to correct it.

      I have contacted Republic Wireless on at least four occasions between approximately May 7 and May 25, 2022 to request a refund for the unused portion of my mobile phone contract. Each time, a customer service agent has assured me that I will be contacted within days by Republic's Billing team, but as of today, I still have received no callback nor email about my requested refund. I cancelled my wireless service after the company informed me that my service would be downgraded (Wi-Fi calling feature removed) while the price would remain the same. On two occasions (May 19, May 25) I called Republic's customer service at ************ and spoke with an agent and explained that I had requested a refund. On May 19, the agent assured me they had submitted a refund request on my behalf (a surprise to me, as I had already sent several emails requesting a refund in the previous two weeks). I was told to expect contact by Republic's Billing Team within ***** hours. Contact never came.I contacted them again by phone on May 25, speaking with an agent named ****. **** confirmed that a refund request had been submitted on my behalf--he could see it in the system--and again assured me that I would receive follow-up within 2-3 days. As of today (6/3), I have still received no follow-up from Republic Wireless.

      On Dec 24th, *************************** installed new chips from Republic Wireless in our cell phones. We were customers of Republic since 2012. The chips did not work, our phones were rendered useless. Over the next 2 weeks, *************************** has been trying to get Republic Wireless to make our cell phones function. Republic Wireless (RW) claimed we needed to set up new accounts to make phones function. The new account set up generated two charges on our credit card (which RW held for auto pay). The new accounts failed to make cell phones work. We continued to try to work with RW and also many representatives of same who promised to make things work, to reverse the charges for new accounts, etc. All to no avail. We have gone to another cell phone carrier. We can not remove our credit card from RW website as they have removed that option from website. RW refuses to port my phone number to new provider and as a handicapped person who has medical devices reporting over my phone I NEED MY PHONE. Which won't work on my phone number. RW refuses to do anything they agree to do. I have disputed all charges, except a pro-rated billing up to Dec. 24th and I am hoping my credit card company does not pay RW. At this point, I am angry for the lies, for RW refusal to port my phone number to new carrier. I am disgusted at the ***** and weeks we have spent trying to rectify these issues. We have ***** of notes, names, times, dates.... If they do not reverse the charges to my credit card, I wish to be refunded fully for funds they took for service not provided. The phone number given above is the one RW has not allowed me to keep. I have a temp number on my cell. My husband's cell # is **********. We THINK it functions at this point.
