    I have been going to this practice for multiple years now. I had informed my doctor during my yearly check-up in February I needed a prior authorization for my asthma control medication the next month. They said to just call when it was a week before I needed it, and so I did. I proceeded to leave a voicemail on March 24th, to which I got no response. I then called again on March 29th and left another voicemail, and received no correspondence again. I left another voicemail on April 14th, and got no correspondence a third time. On April 20th, I called and talked to the front desk person, and they said they would leave a note for the nurse assistant. I still didn't receive any correspondence, so this morning (Friday April 22nd) I took an hour off of work to drive out to their ****** to make sure I could talk to someone.I just got a call, saying that they implemented a new ****** policy that they won't give prior approvals for any prescriptions under $50.I have now been without my asthma medicine for over 3 weeks, and they are now refusing to send in the prior approval, so I can get the medicine through my insurance for the $13 per month I was paying. They expect me to pay over $200 more over the course of the next year, because they won't send in my prior approval like they did last year. And even worse for me, I can't go to another doctor's ****** without having to pay, because I already had my yearly physical for the year. I want them to refund me the cost of my visit, had it not been covered by insurance, so I can go to a doctor's ****** that will actually respond in a timely manner and not show no regard for my time or money by not being willing to send a prior approval, without giving their patients any notice of that change.
