Technician from Az Best Garage Door made service call to my residence to replace broken door spring. Replaced them, but neglected to ensure door was balanced for ease of lifting. Invoice was paid at that time. Door operation became difficult within days. Called Az Best back regarding torque settings on springs. 2nd technician made field call and said spring settings were fine without actually checking them. Advised unit motor failing. 4 days motor failed. Called different company ( Four Corners Garage ************** Technician made field call, tested door and advised door not balanced, as was difficult to manually lift. He balanced door, and gave me an invoice of $99 for the work. He further stated that this was the cause of unit motor failing. I called Az Best Garage Door back and spoke with office manager ********, and her response was to advised they could install a new unit for me at full retail price. I suggested that because this was their error, I would be willing to pay their actual cost for new unit and that they should waive installation cost. Seemed fair to me. She said she would speak with gen. **** ****** and get back to me. Several follow up calls to Az Best was met with receptionist (*****) telling me ******** was either on the phone and would call me back, or is not on the office. My only recourse is to pay a different company to install new unit, and file a claim in Small Claims Court, as there has been no response to date.Business response

That customer has me confused with Another ******************** to prove it I am the owner, receptionist, service tech, no one else works here but me. If that customer didnt deal with me from his first call he has the wrong business.
