      I had a **** laptop computer that overheated badly. I took it to one place that told me he doesn't work on ****s. My wife found Advanced IT Solutions. We took it in to them and **** the owner told us to return the following day. We went back the following day and he told us that my computed was dead. He said he had one that was three. years old he could sell to us for $700 cash. I should have known that was a high price but I didn't know what to do. I started t have some issues and took it to another computer place and they told me that it was an old computer and in bad condition. He said that someone has removed the service tag from the back so he couldn't tell me how old it was. He did say that it was a well used older computer that wasn't worth much. I just want them to take this piece of garbage back and refund my $700. I had to go out and find a new computer. Can you help?

      This individual brought us a badly damaged cheap laptop with a failing HD and we attempted to perform a " cheap fix " for him on 9/7/23 .....

      While we were working on this device the motherboard failed as he has claimed himself..

      We showed him the damaged taken apart chassis to ensure there was no impropriety...   

      We informed him that his original old machine was junk and not repairable and was willing to let him go on his merry way no charge...

      He then asked us do we sell laptops and we of course said " yes we sell refurbished PC & laptop machines at a discounted price.... " 

      The **** Latitude 7490 laptop machine we sold him was a professional grade very clean laptop that worked perfectly and he evidently he had no issues with it for past 6 months and now 7 months ( April 2024 ) later. he wants his money back...

      That is a ridiculous request, that we will not entertain..

      This person's **** machine most likely has issues now because he " reintroduced malicious software " into the device during normal daily usage and instead prefers to throw internet darts at AITS and make a frivolous claim to BBB of **....

      If this person checks on ****.com what a brand new **** Latitude laptop with MS ****** 2021 license preloaded on machine he would be looking at a budgetary cost of more like $1500.00 ..

      We wish ******************** all the best and sincerely hope that whoever his " new IT guy " is they make him happier then we were able to at a rock bottom price..

      We will provide no additional service to this person into the future

      This guy is a real piece of work! He told ud that the **** computer was only three years old. Wrong much older according to the folks at ****. They asked me for the Service tag that should have been on the back and I told them that there was nothing there. They said that this was a very bad situation  and that it should have been there. 
      Franky its a piece of crap! We ended up going to ****** and buying a new  computer for $600. This guy needs to be held accountable!

      We responded to this complaint on 4/4/24 with our final disposition. Not sure why the BBB is entertaining a second response from ******************** after he waited 18 calendar days to reply, when prior BBB notices state; "If there is no response to this request within 5 calendar days, the BBB will assume that your dispute has been resolved." Our position remains the same as previously stated and we consider this matter closed. We wish ******************** the best in the future.

      What really bothers me is the fact that **** told me the **** laptop he would sell me was only three years old. Afterhaving problems with it I went to see the geek squed at Best By. They told me that the Service tag had been removed and that they believe that the **** top was well worn and at least six years old. They told me that him charging me $700 for that well warn laptop was a real s**** job. I have to agree. I had to go out and find a new one and spent $600 at ****** for a brand new computer. He flat cheated us!
