      I got a new vehicle from a dealership and traded in my old vehicle on May 14. I talked to an insurance agent through Oasis Insurance, which helped me getting a new policy for my new car from a different company and to cancel my old one. On May 31 an auto payment of $55.09 came out of my account from Legacy Insurance. I no longer had my vehicle that was insured by them so immediately took action to get it fixed. They will not refund me my money even with the proof that I traded my old vehicle in and started a new policy elsewhere.

      The insurance company is not paying the supplement for my car to be released. They have received it May 31st, and June 6th, multiple times! They are not helpful when we call. My car is done and needs to be released from the shop, but no one is helping me to finalize this. They literally told me to figure this out.

      On Friday March 4, 2022 I was on my way to work ( night shift ) when I was hit by another vehicle who failed to stop at red light and then T boned my vehicle and also totaled my vehicle . My police report shows that The driver of Vehicle number one was arrested and charged with DUI. Next day was Saturday March 5th I called Legacy claims ***** to file a claim against Yovani whom is the policy holder through Legacy Auto. He was at fault, he failed to stop at the red light, He failed to drive responsibly not to mention he failed the sobriety test. Fast forward three weeks later I have never received any phone calls back from his Insurance co. Im always calling them to check the update status on my claim and when I do speak with the reps ****** very rude to me they treat me as if Im trying attempting to fraud them this has seriously taken a toll on my depression. Nobody can give me a straight forward answer or any info for that matter I told them I emailed you guys Police reports, Emergency room discharge forms I also have been referred to Physical therapy by my PCP since the accident my whole back is in pain, stiff and soar. I did my own research on Legacy Auto I came across a whole bunch of Yelp reviews that are so scary to even read about how unprofessional the adjusters are, how they never get back to you. One persons case sounded identical to mine and it made me so sick to think about how that person was still waiting four months later with no response from Legacy. The reason for me coming to BBB to file a complaint is because Im afraid Legacy thinks that they can just get away with this shady stuff and they do NOT conduct themselves in a professional manner. Im an honest person submitting an honest claim I was hurt in this auto accident their client T boned me he flew through a red light. Also itll be one month on 4/7/22 their response is that ****** investigating my claim.

      I placed an accident claim against Legacy Insurance on 3/05/22 when my car was hit and totaled on 3/04/22 by the policy holder Driver of vehicle #1 he was also DUI at the time of this accident, He flew through a red light at ************* ********* and T boned me, I was on my way to work just trying to earn my living. I was calling Legacy insurance just about every week because keep in mind Ive been without a vehicle and unable to return to work do to my right shoulder and lower back having so much pain Im a caregiver so my job requires a whole lot of heavy lifting and bending for my clients. Every time I called Legacy Insurance they were very passive about my whole accident and treated me as if my claims were not valid or as if I was filing fraud claims.The hurt the pain, anxiety, PTSD, depression, anger, frustration this accident has caused me is INSANE. Im still without a vehicle and still waiting to hear from legacys ************************* If you are someone going through what I am currently I will be praying for you because this is something I would not wish on my worst enemy. Thank you BBB for all of your replies and help with my case. I felt so hopeless at the beginning but after getting you guys involved I will say that Legacy has reached out to me not sure if its a coincidence or what but Im super thankful. To whoever is reading this, dont give up and if you need help or have been treated unfair or are just not being hear reach out to BBB.

      I am not sure why I am receiving this complaint. This is address to Legacy Insurance Services. My company is Legacy Insurance and Investment Group. We are an insurance agency not an insurance company. We are not involved in this manner and the insured has not ever been a client of ours.

      Legacy responded that they arent sure why they received this complaint because they do not have me in their system, Im not a policy holder of Legacy the other driver is. I do have documents in my email from Legacy Insurance Services so not sure what end the miscommunication is coming from.

      Yovani E *********************** is the Policy holder and my claim # is CAZ-******* Legacy has Finally sent me a Release of Property  Damage, So that issue has been handled which Im thankful for, I understand that you guys had to do your investigation. One simple phone call with an update would have been nice. My whole life has changed since the accident on March 4th and it will never be the same I wish Legacy was more mindful of this and this was the reason for me coming to BBB because I felt like I wasnt important I couldve died Especially because Yovani was drunk nobody understands my frustration . Im currently awaiting an update from a Bodily Injury person now. Thank you for your time .
