            As you can see attached, my stated EOB for my insurance company. This company is threatening to report me to collections for not paying an almost $250 bill that I do not owe them. My insurance provider has confirmed I do not owe this company anything. I have maxed out my in and out of network deductibles. Valleywide surgical is also threatening to increase my cost with additional fees if I do not pay them the amount. As you can see, I do not owe this company. They are trying to change the narrative that theyre out of network and thats why I need to pay them more My deductible and my insurance company has confirmed. I do not owe this company anything. If you even look at the reviews on ******* they have done this to numerous people before. I am not alone in this issue.

            This company found a loophole in the "Surprise Billing Act" to squeeze money from patients. Their tactics are borderline harassment. Veil threats are their SOP.

            Hello, the No Surprise Act does not allow out of network providers to balance ************** plans as there is a different arbitration process for those plans for payment.  Non-Erisa plans are covered by the SOON bill which is the No Surprise Out of Network bill that states, out of network providers can bill up to $1000; however, our minimums are much lower, and we even deduct what the ****************** pays.  Unfortunately, with the new law, Insurance carriers are paying very little for a required surgical assistant and many surgical assistants have left the industry which is worrisome for the future of all surgeries. Surgical assistants are required for most surgical procedures per CMS guidelines. For this particular patient, their insurance paid the low amount of $113.86 11 months after the surgery was performed. Upon first checking to see if their plan was Erisa or not, the Employer name was not found in the government database; however, on 10/23/23, their Insurance called and provided the correct Employer information and the $230.14 that the patient was billed, was written off.
