1 starI took my 2011 Frontier in this past Tuesday ( 03/14/24 ) to have a rattling noise from the engine fixed. I gave specific instructions to the service agent to fix the rattle only and nothing else. Well, they found several things wrong with the motor and truck. They suggested a compression check and leak down test as they said it had not much oil in the crank case, This was a lie, as I topped it off prior to bringing it to them. They say the tests were negative and suggested that I needed a new engine and several other items needing repair, totaling over $26,000. Yikes! I said no, button it up and I'll pick it up as soon as it was ready. They charged me $367.00 for the diagnostics. The agent again stated there was not enough oil in the crank case and he said I shouldn't even drive it home ( again a lie )! I will never take a vehicle back to them for repair! There interests are in making a profit as most businesses are today, but this dealer is over the top!!! **********Review fromAl G

I originally went for service on 5/18/23 as my Rogue was making noises that it didnt previously make and struggle to accelerate. I left my car there and was told Id hear back by 12. I heard nothing from them until I finally called at 2:30 they informed me it was my transmission but they had all the parts to fix and Id have my car back the following day. I needed a rental as I had appointments I needed to get to they set me up with a rental and told me it would fully be covered under the warranty service. By the time they secured me a rental I had enough time to get to the rental minutes before they closed. The next day I hear nothing from them I had to reach out for any update on my car. Finally they let me know that they didnt have all the parts and wouldnt have them until Monday but again reassured me the rental car would be fully covered by Nissan. Monday I once again dont hear from them and my service advisor couldnt be bothered to ever actually talk with me the receptionist informed me that he promises my car would be ready by 5 pm. I asked that they be sure as I had a once in a lifetime event happening that day at 5:30. Needless to say I missed the event arrived at the dealership at 4:45 and was told they still had to finish work on it at this point Im stuck just waiting and missed the event. I was told the refund for my rental would be mailed to me. Mid June rolls around I called to ask what the status of the refund is and was informed it takes 4 weeks for Nissan to review and approve then the standard mail time. last week I called talked with the service manager who researched the status and informed me no record of refund worked to get it pushed through but informed me that what I was told was incorrect and Nissan doesnt refund the full amount so Im only getting back 1/2 of what I thought Id be getting. Overall east valley continually lied to me and I would not recommend using their services at all even if its the closest one to you.Courtesy Nissan

GARBAGE This dealership will say one thing and do another. Buyer beware. The following is proof of this. The financial manager has REFUSED to help.Nissan *******,I am writing to lodge a severe complaint against Nissan East Valley Car Dealership concerning a highly distressing incident involving the unauthorized mining of my and my wife's credit. Despite not giving explicit permission for the dealership to run a credit check, they proceeded to do so, causing significant negative consequences for our credit profiles. We have endured multiple hard inquiries that have adversely affected our creditworthiness, and the dealership's response thus far has been unsatisfactory, offering only the bare minimum to rectify this matter. To provide some context, my wife and I recently visited Nissan East Valley Car Dealership with the intention of purchasing a vehicle. During our visit, we were promptly informed that we had been approved for Nissan Financing, which led us to believe that our creditworthiness had been assessed and approved. It was at this point that we explicitly expressed our lack of consent for any further credit inquiries or checks, as we were content with the initial approval and had no intention of seeking alternative financing options.Regrettably, despite our explicit instructions and lack of consent, Nissan East Valley Car Dealership proceeded to mine our credit without authorization. As a result, we have discovered multiple hard inquiries on our credit reports, severely impacting our credit scores. These hard inquiries, which were initiated without our knowledge or consent, have now jeopardized our ability to secure favorable terms on future loans, credit applications, and financial transactions. Furthermore, they have generated significant stress, inconvenience, and frustration for both my wife and me.Courtesy Nissan

I can appreciate the concern and have audited this transaction. Without going into specific details, some financing is harder to arrange than others as there are many factors that go into a lender approving or declining a deal. This deal/transaction was found to be compliant with business standards. Customer agreed to purchase a vehicle with financing arranged by dealer. ****** has signed credit authorization, verified identities, and proceeded to arrange financing that was acceptable to the purchaser. We can find no basis for the complaint.Adam Y

Complete lies. Financial manager stated that he forgot to tick a box. We had specifically requested that the credit was to be ran once, end of story. ******* was the only one who offered help. The financial manager **** said he wasn't doing anything to help us. As of to date the fraudulent hard inquiries are still on our credit reports. We are submitting the appropriate paperwork/documentation ourselves to have it removed now. The dealership still hasn't done to have theirs removed. We got approved by Nissan Motor Acceptance Financing, that is the only hard inquiry that should populate on our credit reports.Adam Y

4 starsPurchased a C. Pre-owned 2018 Nissan Frontier SV from this dealership. *************************** was the salesperson that worked with me. No one seemed to notice me on the used car lot so I took my time looking over the vehicle before going into the showroom and finally greeted by ********************** Mgr, who requested ****** to assist me with the Frontier. ******'s customer service skills were okay and he did not attempt to push me. Once the negotiations started, I was confused by all the fees that were added to the quote sheet & questioned ****** regarding each one of them. A lot of stuff was pre-added to the vehicle & was told by ****** that I could possibly negotiate them. The price on the quote sheet was higher than what their online ad showed & once pointed out Sales Mgr ******** made the adjustments. I was totally confused with the Government fees & additional Tax fees that were shown on the quote sheet & when I asked ******, he told me that the Government fees were *************** fees charged. Never heard of Federal fees being charged on an auto purchase. Needless to say, we were miles apart from an agreeable price to purchase. I drove back to ****** & thought about the negotiation & even though Sales Mgr ******** did attempt to come to terms before I left, I was still totally confused about all the extra pricing. However, I liked the truck & all the features that were on it and the fact that it was a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that had been taken care of by the previous owner. So when I arrived home I contacted ****** again and requested to speak with S. Mgr. ********. He immediately explained all the fees and other add-ons to me and made adjustments where he could earn my business. He was a very professional man and made sense to me along with making adjustments to the total price to earn my business. We agreed on an out-the-door cash price & the deal was made the following day. My wife and I are happy with my truck. The finance guy was good.Review fromPatricia N

Went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Our car was a 2022 ******, had just barely over ****** miles and only had the car for 14 months. While waiting for my car at the dealership got a text message that my car need additional critical maintenance. A brake fluid exchange and In-Cabin Micro- Filter. When I questioned these critical maintenance issues was told that Nissan and ******* required these and that they had to be done. I even questioned them that why would this car need this but this was never a requirement for our Nissan Rogue and they had no answer for that. The brake fluid exchange was $150.00 and the filter was $69.95. I agreed because I felt pressured that this was some kind of requirement by Nissan and *******. After agreeing to these services and waiting two other women sitting there got the same exact text message for the same exact critical maintenance service. Needless to say we all three of us became extremely suspicious but my car was already up on the rack so too late to stop. I researched when I got home and needless to say in ******* because of the extreme heat brake fluid exchange is recommend every two years or ****** miles and filter every ****** miles or four years. Needless to say either their customer service maintenance staff is extremely under educated on the requirements for Nissan cars or they have a nice little scam game going especially with senior women who come in for simple service like oil changes because they know they can scare them into additional expensive services. Will not be returning ever to this dealership and they should definitely be investigated.Courtesy Nissan

I spoke with *************************** regarding her recent service visit and BBB complaint. She explained her concerns regarding her experience. I informed ******* that per the owner's manual on the 2022 Nissan Murano, ********************* for the conditions of operation include replacing the brake fluid every ten thousand miles. *** in-cabin filter and engine filter are replaced more frequently in our environment due to Arizonas weather conditions. I also explained that every customer in the service department would receive notice that this maintenance service would need to be completed if their vehicle fell within the parameters outlined in their owner's manual.

1 starMy initial review with Nissan for the customer service at the sale was a glowing review, however, no that I am trying to get the **************** done and or canceled it is truly a pain in the &&& therefore Buyer Beware when Finance is pushing paperwork in front of you saying this is something you need. Especially if you do not live in the East Valley considering the price of gas right now. I attempted to find a dealer in the West Valley that could take care of the **************** on my Armada to no avail since East Valley is not connected to another dealership which is a good and a bad thing, the finance folks told me to contact Automate directly to see if they could direct me to a dealer on this side of town and they stated that I had to utilize the dealer I purchased the vehicle from or void my paint warranty. I personally believe that Automate is a scam that gives kickbacks to the dealer for each sale, therefore if you are like me and perform wax and polish by hand at least once a year this product is a waste of your money. Also, on another note I am told that cannot cancel Automate and that it was in the contract, you mean the part of the contract that wasnt explained to me Oh alright that part. Also to boot when I called to make the appointment since there is no way to cancel this c*** I am told that if it is not clean they will not complete the service, what a bunch of bull there, so if I run it through a carwash the night before and we geta dust storm as we do in ******* and the truck gets dirty I better clean it before I drop it off. Horrible customer service after the sale. For the sale this company is outstanding but service after the sale is lacking therefore, I do not recommend this dealership.
