Entered a contract with Platinum pools and Spas in March of 2021. Platinum was our home builders preferred pool company. Paid a down payment to initiate the pool process in the amount of approximately ******** and the rest was paid in full by our home loan (Richmond American) upon assuming title. The total cost was ********* approximately. We were promised a completion date of July 2021, unfortunately due to COVID-19 Pandemic dates were pushed out and that was understandable (unforeseen circumstances). An entire year has gone by with a giant hole in our backyard approximately 13 feet by 21 feet wide and approximately 10 feet deep (excavation) 2 different muck outs after storm caused collapse. During our annual inspection of the home build 4/5/2022 we were told to be aware of erosion (weather, rain, etc). as this would void structure warranty. Platinum Pools contracts out and and they do not have plumber's or other trades in-house (People not licensed, undocumented, and random people sent to do the job). Communication has been non-existent and have tried numerous forms of communication with the company all with limited success. As of now April 2022 we have no completed pool with concerning safety issues such as sharp edges surrounding pool and water feature. Broken and Unsealed travertine to include debris and other hazardous waste scattered throughout my patio. Acid wash and other chemicals to name a few. No attempts at resolution have been made as of yet. We were presented with a survey to complete and yet the job is still unfinished. They have not fulfilled their contractual obligations and I have exhausted all my attempts at working with them.
