      Romco roofing was hired on August 23 2021. I paid ******* on Sept 1 2021 and was told when check cleared my roof replacement would be scheduled on Sept 17 2021 texted owner at first no response when I texted again that I know check cleared I got a quick response giving me a date Oct 8 2021 they came on Oct 7 2021 started job and came on Oct 8 2021 to finish. I was told gutters would be taken down as part of roof replacement on August 23 2021 when I signed contract. I saw this wasnt done so I asked about that and the owner told me he wouldnt touch gutters. I thought they might have inspected the wood under gutters and it didnt need it, since found out that is vital part of roof replacement. Roof appeared to be okay. They replaced several pieces of wood one piece is warped and buckled the roof sent pics, email and txt to owner,no response. After I txted him several times, they came and repaired roof on Nov 17 2021, and I paid company an additional ******** the remainder of ****. I still havent received a paid in full receipt. The repair didnt work, I noticed they moved flashing by gutters up so the buckle in roof wouldnt be seen from ground. I emailed pics and txted owner once again saying repair didnt work,that was Nov 30 2021 I havent heard back yet. With all the problems with this company I feel they will not fix what was to be done correctly in the first place. Dealing with this company and trying to get them to do their job was stressful. I am a woman alone and I feel that played a factor in the way the roof was improperly done. Even having to file a complaint is stressful

      This is the first Ive heard that the warped wood was still an issue we will be happy to get it redone and fix it for her. As to the gutters we simply told here we only need to detach and reset gutters if they are anchored over her existing drip edge. Her gutter were fastened below the drip edge and didnt not need to be detached and reset in order to replace the roof. 

      The patio decking was bad and we replaced it with new plywood. Appearantly the plywood has warped and buckled away from her truss. We can mail it down from on top now that the patio roof is on so we will have to redo her patio roof to change out that warped decking. This was something that we addressed and it was to her statisfaction last time we went out.

      This is the first Ive heard that its still an issue instead of calling me she decided to file a complaint I called and left her a voicemail that we can come out and get anything wrong with the wood replaced.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I have had  the issue resolved by myself with another roofing company.I disagree with Romco Roofin about notification of the repair work needing to be repaired again. I notified Romco Roofing  on  Nov 30  2022. There have been issues with them responding to my text, they responded later on the day I filed the complaint saying in a text they would be there in a week. That was Dec 1,2022. On Dec 2,2022 the company sent Romco Roofing my complaint, I waited til Dec 15 2022 and texted the company when are they going to fix the repair again. I didn't receive a response until March 30, 2022. Four months had passed I felt that it was so long that Romco Roofing wasn't going to fix the repair that didn't work,  I had it fixed 2 weeks prior to the phone message I received from Romco Roofing on March 30, 2022. I resolved the issue myself and I would not ever recommend this company to anyone.
