We bought a used 2018 5th wheel around February to March of 2021. We spent about 42K on it This was are very first rv so we went to a dealer so we would get a quality used rv with no problem or just small minimal maintenance stuff. On the walk through we noticed the floor was soft in a few spot in kitchen. We asked why it felt really soft & was told its normal because the wood can & does come loss. We not knowing RVs we believe them. Then we asked why the roof look like it was sagging & was told there was a truss upside down & they fixed it &panel was just warped. We said ok its wood. Them we asked if there was ever any water damage anywhere to the trailer roof,walls,floor. We where told NO not one bit of water damage. So we believe them because we didnt know better. About 3 to 5 months later we constantly had problems with a slide out so is started looking into it and found a bunch of rot on the floor where my hand when nealing down went through the floor. So I fight with them for about a month they finally fixed it but I bought the wood that for it. We got it back & shortly after that we had a big heavy rain & the roof started to leak where it was sagging at. Brought it up to the service *************** and they refuse to do anything. The owner told me they would never sell a trailer the wood rot. So i pulled the roof panel inside to start looking & found a bunch of water damage the truss they claimed to fix is upside down & the wiring is pinched & rubbing between the ************ because it's not run in the right spot. Sent pictures to the owner & never heard back. The service manager also told us when we picked it up from the floor repair that it was a good thing we bought the extended warranty because we will need it because the trailer has a ton of problems. Heck we have only had it for about 4 or 5 months when he told us that. So it seams like they knowingly sold us this with these probelm and took advantage of an elderly couple.
