The company that was contracted to take school photos on behalf of the school is trying to force purchases and payment. All Pro School Pictures took photos of the children at my sons elementary school as would any school. These photos were then printed without any request from parents and sent home with children noting that if they didn't return them at a certain date less than a week from sending them home we would have to pay for them. We never requested any photos so I called the company and asked why I was required to do extra work for something I did not request. **** (the owner) noted that was the deal with the school and if we didn't return them we were stealing. This accusation is ridiculous and unfounded. I didn't ask for anything, you sent me something and then sent, through multiple channels demanding payment. This is bad business and needs to be addressed.Business response

I want to thank you posting the actual instructions you given, let's see how your claims line up.You said the studio is "trying to force purchases and payment" and "if they didn't return them ... we would have to pay for them" and " then sent, through multiple channels demanding payment"
Look at your attachment # ********_170717 The instructions state "Keep the sheets you wish to purchase and return the rest to the school."Your 2nd attachment #********_170808 is a reminder to return the envelope and or payment that is sent home prior to the order deadline. It clearly states "Although there is never an obligation to purchase pictures, we want to encourage you return any that you do not wish to keep."Your 3rd attachment # ********_170904 I have not seen before, it must be something the school sent out. Just another reminder. Nowhere is there a "force to purchase", nowhere is there any reference to "your being forced to pay for them if they are not returned by the due date",and nowhere is a "demand for payment".
Furthermore, I did not say that "if you did not return them you were stealing." You asked me what I would do if someone sent me something that I did not ask for. I said it happens all the time, people put all kinds of other payments and paper work in our bins, and we return them. You pressed me again, and asked if I would really pay for postage and drive to the post office etc. and I replied, "Yes I would make every effort to return something that was not mine or I did not want because I am not a thief." Then I told you "that is what I would do, but you could do whatever you want."
You decided to file a BBB claim against me for a school fundraiser that is used to provide graduation and promotion awards and certificates for the kids in your school. Your school has used this program for the last 9 years and the studio has offered this exact same service to hundreds of schools over the past 35 years, and will continue to do so.

The business response personally attacked me instead of dealing with the issues at hand. The problem is trying to force payment upon unsuspecting individuals. It's no different than me send out $500 and then asking for $550 in response, "or else". The business tactics are flawed and should be canceled.Business response

****, did not personally attack you in any way. Just pointed out that you have no argument, There is no "purchase or else" anywhere in the instructions you were given. Your own evidence does not support your claims. I notice you have never referenced the actual instructions you were given as they do not support your accusations. Do not make up anything, look at the actual instructions that you, your self uploaded, and directly quote the threatening or deceptive language you are citing.
Where does it say you have to return your photos or you will be billed? Where exactly does it say you are being forced to participate in any way? You cannot, because it does not.
The instructions are clear and simple, you uploaded them yourself. I notice throughout this entire process you have never once referenced the actual instructions you were provided, you have only leveled baseless and groundless non-factual opinion statements. If our discussion cannot be fact based, I will not participate.
Cite the instructions, not your opinion.

I paid $82 to *** Coopey for school photos. They failed to provide them to me when I was at their studio. The staff then refused to issue a refund and was verbally abusive to my family.Business response

******************** placed a school picture order with us on 10/12/23 for both of her children for a total of $82.00. We came to her children's school to take pictures on 10/18/23 (Thursday) and her children either were absent or wanted more photos. ******************** brought her children to the studio for the second year in a row to have their retake pictures done on 10/21/23 (Saturday). Our photographer for the second year in a row took over 50 pictures of children trying to capture them the best she could. The family was told that the prints would be ready in about 15 minutes and they could wait in the lobby. When the photographer brought the job back to lab, the lab didn't know what ************************ order was because the original job hadn't been posted yet since the school pictures were just taken two days prior. The photographer went to the lobby to get more information from the family but they were no where to be found. They returned an hour later and were upset because the packages weren't printed and when the photographer tried to explain what happened, ******************** became rude and belligerent, talking over the photographer and other customer service people that were trying to help solve the issue. ******************** began filming the photographer and attacking her personally. She demanded a refund, but refunds are done by office staff who work during the regular business week, not on the weekend. ******************** began demanding phone numbers and personal information about the office manager which she had no right to nor was she given. We gave ******************** her refund on 10/24/23 (Tuesday), the next business day that the office manager works. As far as I am concerned, the matter is done.Initial Complaint

On 9/8/2022, I order a $40 portrait package to be shipped to my home for my daughter's school pictures. It was supposed to be shipped top my home address within 30 days. However, I didn't receive them. When I inquired as to where the portraits were, I was told they were shipped to the school 10/2022, however, I never received them from the teacher and on 3/9/2023, I was told they were shipped to my home and given a false tracking number. I still waited to see if a mistake was made and they would eventually arrive. They still haven't arrived, and I informed ***************** All Pro that I would be filing multiple complaints at this point. I want my daughter's portraits and a real tracking number sent to me, not some false one where the pictures never arrive!
